Clarke Griffen:
Ali. What did I tell Bellamy...I told him that something was fishy about her! But I can't really blame him, I believed her stupid lies to. I believed that I had a sibling that still cared for me and that dad was alive. My face burns with hot tears but my body is as cold as ice. I swiftly swing my legs off of the table. Too swiftly. Pain shoots up my spine, drawing out a violent groan. Monty sits up and his cheeks blush realizing that his friends have left him alone with me. He's been asleep all day. Bellamy probably put him on guarding duty. I snicker.
"Don't worry. I don't bite." He stands up, brushes off his legs (even though he doesn't need to), salutes me and runs out the door. I've found Monty surprisingly shy around people. Especially girls.
After he leaves, I'm all alone. It's nice to have some peace and quite to think, but after five minutes, I can't stand it. With the drop-ship door open, I can see everyone huddled around a bonfire. They pass around the moonshine that Monty learned to make. I urn to be over there having fun, laughing and listening to the stories. But most of all, I want to get away from this table. This table is where I took care of Ali. I mended her wounds here and she wiped away my tears, on this very same table. No. I have to stop thinking about her as the sweet sister who will hold me and console me during my nightmares and scariest fears. We have seen what Ali truly is. A monster. A player. A fake.
"Princess..." I jump as Bellamy walks in as I'm in a daze. Maybe he can help me get outside.
"Bell, can I come outside with you?" He looks stunned, probably because I would be scolding the person, telling them they need rest. Fortunately, Bellamy Blake is nothing like me. He walks over and picks me up, bridal style and walks me over to the fire. Every cheer and claps as he sets me down on his lap. I'm grateful to have a guardian angle like him around.
"Even though we are enjoying ourselves, we need to think about how to handle the Ali situation while most of you are sober enough." Bellamy starts. I frown as I look at the dancing flames and glowing coals. I came here to escape Ali, not to hear her name again. "She obviously set us up and stabbed Clarke. We need to find her and put an end to this." Death. He means that we are going to kill Ali.
Bellamy Blake:Clarke's grasp to my neck loosens. I know that Ali is still her sister and all, but I was wrong about her being the innocent girl that she was. Now, she's just as bad of a problem as Murphy was.
"Tomorrow, we will work on building the wall up higher and thicker, to avoid less damage. I will also send out search parties to scout the area. Clarke and I will plan out a solution to this mess, don't worry about us. If you see...if you see Ali while your on...a search party,...kill her on sight." Mumbles and whispers ring out through the crowd like a ticking time bomb. Clarks whips her head to look at me. Our faces are only centimeters apart.
"We're supposed to talk about this, remember? We are a team, aren't we?" I know that she's right, but it would have had to happen anyways.
"There is nothing left to talk about." I spit back at her. I regret it immediately. He face is left with a surprised look. I can't stand the guilt anymore, so I carry her back to the drop-ship, her eyes like daggers, not leaving mine. When I set her down and cover her up with another blanket, I start to walk out.
"Wait Bellamy," she starts. For some reason, tears run down my cheeks. I don't even know why. Maybe it's because she makes me let my feeling take the best of me. I don't look at her so that she can't see my tears. "what's happened to you? Why don't you talk to me anymore?" That's the breaking point. I turn so that she can see the true side of me. Her emotion drops as she sees tears, pouring out of my eyes. "Bellamy." she whispers. I slowly walk over to her and get face level with her fragile head.
"You've happened to me; and I don't know what to feel." She leans in and plants a kiss on my lips.
