SYNOPSIS!

SAPPHIRE SIMMONS, the older sister to the genius that is Jemma Simmons, was someone that had been through hell and back. On a mission, she had insisted to go alone, that it would be quick, and easy. But it was the exact opposite. Sapphire ends up getting captured, staying in a room that was in negative degree temperatures and becoming an experiment for an evil organization that has always been S.H.I.E.L.D's number one enemy.

Once she's rescued by Agent Melinda May, she's brought back to reveal the new team Coulson had created, one of which he wanted her to be a part of. She accepts, and as days go by she finds herself changing. First, it started with the room temperature dropping down below freezing whenever she was alone, something she never noticed until someone would ask why it had suddenly become so cold. And then, things started to freeze over, and her eyes started to glow and electric white-blue, and it was at this point that she realized HYDRA really did a number on her.

Sapphire felt so alone. A plane full of people she cared about, and yet she still sat there like she was the only one there, wishing that what she had become had never taken place. Sapphire saw herself as a monster. HYDRA's creation, something that would be with her for the rest of her life. The meta was tired of being poked and prodded with needles by her sister in hopes of figuring out everything they possibly could about her.

The girl just wanted someone to talk to who wasn't only interested in what had happened to her when she was with HYDRA. And that's where Daisy Johnson came in. The woman herself was a meta, one that could cause powerful vibrations from her hands, knocking anyone off their feet as soon as they came into contact with her. Daisy had found herself being drawn to Sapphire as soon as she had seen the female laying in that hospital bed.

Daisy Johnson and Sapphire Simmons were one in the same. Both of them had powers that they couldn't fully understand, and they both just wanted someone to care for them, care for their personality, and not the mutation that lay within their genes. And maybe Daisy could be that person for Sapphire, and Sapphire could be that person for Daisy.

AUTHORS NOTE!

Daisy has my entire heart, and so does Jemma, so because I couldn't decide which to do a fic for, I decided to make a Daisy Johnson fic where the character was Jemma's older sister by two years. Originally this fic was going to follow the show, but now it is going to be completely AU! Also instead of the original one year, she's going to be in captivity for two. With that being said, we are just going to imagine that the first part of this book is taking place all throughout those two years cause I'm too lazy to rewrite all of that stuff :)

ANYWAYS the first section of this book is basically going to show what happened to Sapphire and how she was rescued, ect, ect. Daisy and Saph are going to have such a beautiful relationship that's so complicated at the same time and- UGH I'M SO READY FOR THIS FIC THAT I REALLY DON'T NEED TO BE WRITING.

I hope you all enjoy Frostbite! Oh yea, also, this is in NO WAY connected to the DC universe, hence why I changed her superhero name from Killer Frost to Frostbite. Even though the former is much cooler, I didn't wanna get people mixed up. Anyways! Enough talking, and on to the story we go.
