Y/N POV
The bell rang, and my heart sparked. Everyday after school me and Ponyboy Curtis walk home together...

little does he know that all I want is to be with him. I’ve liked him about 3 months now, around the time I moved here.

My parents split up when I was just 5 years old. I don’t remember much from when I was little but I do remember having an older brother.

I don’t remember his name or much of what he looks like but he was about 2 years older then me. He moved to Tulsa with my mom and I stayed with my dad just outside of Tulsa.

The crazy thing is, is that we live in the exact same town but we still haven’t seen each other... well at least I don’t think we have.

I cleaned out my stuff from my locker as I heard a voice say, “hey Y/N!! What’s up?”. I smiled as soon as I realized it was Pony. “Nothin’ much just thinking”, he smiled as I packed up and started to walk home.

I’ve never been to his house
Before nor has he been to mine, but we always walk most the way together. “Did you here about that new movie in the theatre’s?”, he said looking over at me. I started to get a little more excited, “Dead poets society?”.

He giggled and nodded. “Yeah it looks really good!... Maybe we could go to it together...”, he said as everything went silent. Is he asking me out?

Omg.

He’s asking me out!! What do I do. “I uh um sure!-“ I said as we smiled and I waved goodbye.

We parted ways, although I couldn’t wait to see him again.

I spent hours on my hair, makeup and picking out the perfect summer dress. I put a jean jacket overtop tying together my outfit.

I rushed around the house with my heart racing a mile a minute, I just couldn’t seem to wrap my head around the fact the my crush asked me out to a movie I’ve been wanting to see for so long now!

God... he’s so perfect. I really couldn’t get him out of my mind it wasn’t just now it’s like I’m always thinking about him...

All of a sudden adrenaline rushed through my body when I heard a knock at the door.

It was pony he was wearing a flannel shirt which I have never seen him were before maybe it was one of his brothers...

he had his hair greased back real nice and fresh blue jeans. He stopped and looked me up and down for a second, “you look gorgeous”.

My cheeks flushed red, as I thanked him. We trailed down the street talking about the usual.

Poetry, and books. I told him about this beautiful poem I read earlier called, Do not stand at my grave an weep, by Mary Elizabeth Frye.

It was interesting to the point where you could spend hours thinking about it, but also it made so much sense that all the words came together perfectly.

As I was talking about this magnificent poem Pony grabbed my hand. We were holding hands. Walking hand in hand looking for a seat at the theater. Wow. It felt so perfect, so right...

We watched the movie and of course cried at the end. It was amazing, so inspiring and perfect. This whole night was perfect I didn't want it to end...

when the movie finished it was around 7:00 pm. And so he asked me... "hey so do you wanna maybe hang out at my place tonight? My eldest brother is working night shifts so the house gets pretty fun on nights like these".

I didn't let myself think or worry I immediately said, "sure I'd love to!". We headed to his place...

hand in hand.

The sun started to set we even talked about the gorgeous sunsets we see every night in tulsa. But we also talked a little bit about his gang I could not to meet them!
