I'm not usually a deep thinker, but I couldn't get this one thought out of my head... does Steve want a future?... with me?

Because I want one.

I want to grow old with him. I want to buy a house with him. I want to marry him. I want him too be in every big step in my life. But what if this isnt what he wants?,

I don't think I would be able to recover from this break up if ever were too happen. Steve means the world to me, and I just can't loose him.

We finally arrived home, and Pony and Y/N ran straight into the house, giggling and holding hands. They were so adorable!

But before Steve got out of the car I asked him, "do you... do you maybe a see like a future for us?".

He seemed a little shaken by this question. Almost like he didn't want me in his future... I ignored it, and just let him talk.

"I- I don't really know... why?", he said. I hung my head, and slowly stepped out of the car. "Nah just wondering...", I said quietly.

Things quickly grew tense between us, and I wasn't sure how to react... neither did he. I felt him rub my back trying too loosen things up, i gave him a smile as we walked into the house.

Darry greeted us... with a baby in his arms? "Um hi? Who's this?", I asked.

Darry smiled and said, "his names Oliver were babysitting him for the night...". I'm surprised I didn't know Darry liked kids?

"Where's the rest of the gang?", steve spoke up. "Did you really think I was gonna leave Dally alone with a child?

and Johnny is always with Dally, Two-bit is out getting waisted again, and Pony and y/n are hanging out in his room I think?".

He said as I just I just nodded my head as I walked over to see the baby. "Oh. Oh crap I forgot- ", darry said will handing me the baby.

"I have to go like right now! Can you watch him??... okay great bye!", darry dashed out the door leaving me and steve alone with a child?

That wasn't very smart. I was kindof akward because I never really held a baby before. Well besides Pony, but that's kindof different.

I stumbled over too the couch holding the baby in the most akward position. Steve laughed and sat next to me.

"Um do you a-  wanna take it..  um him?", I said awkwardly. Steve reached out his arms, and it was like it immediately clicked.

The baby cuddled closer to him, as he lightly caressed his cheek. Steve seemed peaceful. But damn did this hurt me inside.

I know I wasn't planning on having kids, and just being the fun uncle but I do. I really do.

I want to marry Steve, I want to have kids somehow, I want to grow old with him, and I want too spend every minute with him.
