chapter 2

I took a deep breathe as I followed ponyboy into his house. There was one boy sitting on the floor drinking beer, and two guys on the couch.

They seemed pretty close by Ponys description I assumed Two-bit was on the floor. And Steve and Soda were on the couch.

"Are they...dating?", I whispered to pony making him burst out laughing.

"I... I'm not sure... they SAY they're just best friends but haha i dont know anymore", he said between giggles.

Two guys which fitted the description of Dallas and Johnny came out from behind the kitchen with plates full of cake.

Johnny seemed nice as he greeted me and Pony but Dallas said, "Oooo who's the girl?". Ponys face went red, as he said.

"Its my friend... Y/N". "Y/N what? Is that it just Y/N?", Dally said teasing me. "Um well it Y/N Randle".

Everyone stopped.

I heard a beer crash too the floor.

Ponys eyes widened.

What? What did I say? Did I have like a famous name or something? Do they hate someone with my name?

Pony bit his lip and said, "you have a brother....right? About 2-3 years older then you?... living in Tulsa?" That was completely correct.

What was he saying? Does he know my brother?.

All of a sudden a guy who I'm pretty sure' name is Steve ran out the door. Soda looked around the room then ran after him.

"Damn. That's crazy.", twobit said not taking his eyes off the tv.

Johnny seemed confused, but Dallas seemed a little hyped.

Pony looked over at me and said, "I think I THINK that um... Steve might just be your brother... his last name is Randle, and he's mentioned a younger sister before...".

My heart stopped. By the looks of it he is my brother. My mind couldn't grasp this thought, it just lingered I'm my brain without purpose. How? How could this be?...

he ran outside what if per say he IS my brother... he doesn't want me... it kinda hurt. But who knows what could happen when he came back in through that door.

Or if he even comes back... the whole room felt tense. Pony seemed confused, and shocked... I really hope this wouldn't change anything, "please dont let this change anything!... I really like you and I just dont want to loose you...".

WHAT TF DID I JUST DO? DID I JUST CONFESS I LIKE HIM?

Pony wrapped his arms around me taking me by surprise.

"Nothing could ever change the way I feel about you... I like you too..." this warmed my heart. Even if things didn't work out with Steve I will always have Pony...

Before I knew it our lips had collided. It felt so very right. It felt like it was mean't to happen. Even though it was only a couple of seconds it felt like all eternity.

His soft lips against mine only felt like heaven.

What stopped our kiss you may be wondering? Dallas. He yelled out, "Oooo Pony your goin' get laid...". Pony smacked Dallys arm as I stood back and giggled.

But my feelings quickly changed when I heard the door open...
