Become Enemy

Chapter 10

Daqing can't believe to see this professor in his dad's ward. The most surprised to see this professor is smiling to him with a warm face. He never see this professor becomes warm like that since he knows this man about two weeks ago through Yezhun before this man prevented Yezhun from meeting him as well as Wang to Sang.

''Zhao Daqing, can you leave your dad now under my care and please go to the ER. Your didi is fainted for his sick,'' Shen Wei requested.

''Sang is fainted for his sick? What's happened to him, Prof. Shen?'' Daqing asked.

Shen Wei smiles.

''Please don't worry, Zhao Daqing. He just fainted because of fever. It's just a procedure to bring him to the ER first before the doctor can admit him to the ward like your dad,'' Shen Wei assured.

Daqing sighs to hear that. Then, he looks at his dad that still sleeping after his dad woke up from fainted before he looks back to Shen Wei.

''Qian, please leave me with Yunlan and bring him to ER,'' Shen Wei requested from Li Qian too while signing to Daqing.

As a supporter wife, Li Qian nods understand. She walks away together with Daqing while Shen Wei takes a seat at the side of Zhao Yunlan's hospital bed. He holds Zhao Yunlan's hand tightly with his right hand while his left hand is caressing on that handsome face of his bestfriend.

''Yunlan, I am sorry to leave you back then. I am sorry to be with you because of my mad and frustration over you back then. Yunlan, you know I lost my trust on you at that time as I thought you already threw me from being your friend. I thought you think of me as an enemy because of dad was dead in front of our eyes. I am sorry, Yunlan because I lost my hold on him at that time. I tried to hold my tiredness and to hold his hands tightly. Even I almost fell from that rooftop. But... your dad... he... Your dad released his hands from my hold, Yunlan. I can't accept that because of me almost fell too, he released my hands and let him fell down in front of my eyes. I am sorry, Yunlan! I didn't mean to lose his hands from my hold, Yunlan!'' Shen Wei cried for his guiltiness.

Zhao Yunlan heard a crying voice near him and that voice is really familiar to him. He silent in his laying on the bed. He fakes his sleep as he wants to hear all confession from this man.

''I know you may not believe me for that since I hid it for 21 years and just tell you now. Yunlan, I know something but since you lost your trust to me and you threw me back then, I didn't know what to do. When you didn't want to listen to me back then, I felt like I should not tell you about that and just let you think of me as a killer of your dad. I didn't know what to do, Yunlan. I am broken down by your hatred words. So, I kept silent and just left you behind because I can't face you with that. I hid something that can lead you to find the killer of your dad. I am afraid if your heart broken to know that, Yunlan. So, I just silent and I didn't tell anyone even to Qian. I don't know how to explain to you, Yunlan. I am afraid you will frust and sad to know that,'' Shen Wei said.

Shen Wei wipes his tears that running down on his both cheeks.

''Tell me, Wei! Is it about Zhu?'' Zhao Yunlan asked as he opened his eyes to see a crying Shen Wei at his side.

Shen Wei startled to hear Zhao Yunlan's ask. He looks at Zhao Yunlan that rising up to sit while leaning the head on the headboard of the hospital bed. Shen Wei speechless for a moment to see this man already woke up and heard everything of his confession.

''Tell me, Wei what did you know about my dad's death? What's happened on that time on the rooftop? What did you see? Explain everything to me, Wei. I want to listen to you now. I want to listen to my bestfriend now,'' Zhao Yunlan asked and he keeps pressuring to Shen Wei to tell the truth.
