Chapter 9

After the incident of Shen Wei fainted, Zhao Yunlan keeps trying to get close with Shen Wei. He keeps trying to befriend again with that guy. He misses the friend relationship between them. But Shen Wei, he keeps avoiding Zhao Yunlan for his sadness and frustration over Zhao Yunlan. Why Zhao Yunlan can't understand him for this time?

''Papa, please let me meet with Sang! He is outside under the heavy rainfall. At least let me give him an umbrella, papa! He will catch a cold soon to soak under the rainfall,'' Wang persuaded Shen Wei to go out and meet with Sang that soaking under the rainfall outside of their house to meet with Wang and kneeling for Shen Wei to forgive Zhao Yunlan.

''I said no! Go to your room now! Don't you ever to meet him again!'' Shen Wei scolded with high voice, making Wang startled to hear her papa scolded her like that for the first time in her life.

''I hate you, papa!'' Wang shouted before she runs away for her sulk to her papa.

Li Qian walks closer to Shen Wei and rubs on the back of her husband while saying her soothing and persuading words.

''Hubby, children never sulk to you for these 19 to 20 years of their lifes. But now, you see what you did to them. Not only Wang, but Yezhun also sulk over you now for your heartless to not allow them to go to campus and even to meet with their friends. Please, hubby... Don't make them suffer like you. They need a friend and a love too. Don't use your hatred to Zhao Yunlan for them,'' Li Qian said her words.

''I can't forgive him to make my life upside down, Qian. I want to see his life suffer too,'' Shen Wei said in his heartless voice.

Li Qian sighs. She knows it's hard to convince Shen Wei when his heart is already broken down.

''Hubby, Zhao Yunlan apologized to you. He didn't know anything about what Zhu did to him and you back then...''

''But he closed his eyes to see the real thing. He believed on Zhu more than me, his closest friend and brother! Why, Qian? You know that I believed in him more than I did to you, right even though I love you more than he loves Zhu. But still I believed on him more than I believe on you, Qian!'' Shen Wei cut his wife's words with his frustration heart again.

''But hubby, he is blinded by Zhu's words. If I am in Zhao Yunlan's shoe, I will do the same. With what he saw you on the rooftop on the time of his dad fell on the ground from that rooftop, I believed his mind was crazier at that time. Please, hubby... Open your mind to see his heart too. To feel his feeling to you. He feels guilty to abandon you back then. He regretted to neglect you and believed on his wife over you. He just got his clear mind back, hubby,'' Li Qian tried again to convince.

Today is the second weeks of Shen Wei didn't go to work and blocked his children to go to the campus. He even didn't allow Li Qian to go outside. Only the maid was going to the market for these weeks. Sang and Daqing are taking their turns to convince on Shen Wei to forgive their dad after Zhao Yunlan knelt down in front of Shen Wei's house and ended up got sick. But still Shen Wei's heart didn't touch for Zhao Yunlan did.

''Now he is sick, still having cold. How could you to let another person to be sick because of your heartbroken, hubby? Please, forgive him, hubby! He tried his best to apologize to you,'' Li Qian persuaded again.

Shen Wei nudges his glasses and he releases a heavy sigh before he walks away to his working room. Li Qian sighs for defeated to persuade her husband. Since beginning, Shen Wei is the one that most stubborn to forgive someone that broke his heart. He can be the nicest guy. But if his heart is broken down, he can be the cruelest guy.

Shen Wei in the working room looks at the phones of his children, Yezhun and Wang. He checks the new texts from his children's friends including from Daqing and Sang. He saw they two kept pleading to meet and asked his children to persuade him to forgive their dad. All the texts were read by Shen Wei but the last text from Daqing touched his broken heart over Zhao Yunlan.
