Chapter 15

Two weeks passed by but Zhu still in a coma state. As told by Dr. Cheng, Zhu seems like giving up her life, like she didn't want to wake up again. Zhao Yunlan, his sons, Zhu's parents and even Shen Wei's family tried to wake her up but still she just silent and didn't give any reaction. Even though they tried to hide the painful condition of her life before this, but still she gives up her life.

Zhao Yunlan sighs as he entered into the ward where Zhu is placed. Shen Wei at Zhao Yunlan's side just silent to see Zhao Yunlan kisses on Zhu's lips and whispering those words of I love you repeatedly to Zhu. He feels hurt to see his bestfriend is frustrated like this. For these two weeks, Zhao Yunlan is not himself and he keeps blaming himself for what was happened to Zhu. He said because of him punished Zhu within those weeks, he just brought Zhu to the danger.

''Babe, I bring you your favourite red roses again. You smell this, it's nice, right?'' Zhao Yunlan said while bringing closer that bouquet of red roses to Zhu's nose.

Then, Zhao Yunlan changes yesterday's roses in the vase to this new one. Zhao Yunlan never forget to bring a new bouquet of roses for his wife. Those red roses are Zhu's favourite flower. Zhu likes red. Mostly of her clothes and lipsticks are red. Zhao Yunlan rarely saw Zhu wore another color of clothes.

''Zhu, please wake up now! Can't you hear what is Yunlan brought to you? He never forget your favourite flowers. Every day, he will change the flowers in the vase on the table near your bed with a new bouquet,'' Shen Wei said while holding on Zhu's hand at his side.

Zhao Yunlan at the other side just smiling to Shen Wei. Since the case closed, their friend relationship also becomes closer and stronger. They plan to knot their children with a marriage after Zhu woke up. They want to tie their friendship with a family relationship.

''Babe, you know... today, the case of my dad and those two students were closed. The higher superior agreed to close the case. That killer was dead and his men are already in the prison for the rest of their lifes to involve in the drug dealing. I made a justice for my dad, for Shen Wei and also for you, babe. You don't have to scare of him again. He can't do anything to you now. He was dead, babe. So, please! Please wake up, babe! Zhu, you know that I always love you. Since 22 years ago when the first time I saw you in your sexy red blouse and skirt were walking in front of me, I fell in love with you for the first sight. I asked Wei to accompany me to your house rent to confess. But your housemate told me that you were backed to your parent's house. So, we went there. Do you remember at that time I climbed your room balcony and you pushed me down to the ground and broke my arm. I missed a week classes because of that you know. But still I am happy to see you at a very closer distance. You are indeed beautiful and sexy, babe. Also hot for my eyes,'' Zhao Yunlan said his words as he holding another hand of Zhu at his side.

Shen Wei just listening to Zhao Yunlan's words to Zhu. He didn't interrupt for this time. He just giving Zhao Yunlan the time to talk with Zhu.

''Since that day, I can't forget you. I even argued with Wei because Wei tried to advise me to think twice. He said you will reject me because of him. He said you hate him for unknown reason. He didn't know what is the reason you hate him till lately we found out the reason of your hatred to Wei. Babe, Wei didn't do that bad thing to you. You are blinded by that rapist, by that bastard...''

''Yunlan!'' Shen Wei that startled to hear Zhao Yunlan tried to bring out that sad moment to Zhu tried to stop Zhao Yunlan from saying those words to Zhu as suggested by Dr. Cheng as they are afraid if that can bring a break down of Zhu's mental state again.

''Stop, Wei! Don't prevent me for this time. Let me tell her everything. I can't see her breaking down like this to give up her life just because of that rapist?! Didn't she think of me and her sons who are still needing her in our lifes?!'' Zhao Yunlan can't hold his anger and frustration feeling now when he is crying to say his words.
