Chapter 5 The rangers rescue Ariel

Carly makes the plan to rescue Ariel with the team but when the rest of them are sleeping John sneaks out to go rescue Ariel. Meanwhile at Alyssa's place she is brainwashing Ariel. "Red wolf force ranger. With the brain drain I can go in and out of your thoughts and memories and bend them to my will. You will think what I want you to think and you will believe anything I tell you." Alyssa said. The brain drain caused Ariel to pass out. When she woke up she didn't know where she was. She didn't even remember who she was. "Where am I? Who am I? Who are all of you? I can't remember." Ariel said. Alyssa told Ariel that she has fought the power rangers for years and that the rangers are evil. "The power rangers must be stopped." Ariel said. That morning John tried to rescue Ariel but he doesn't know that she has been brainwashed. Ariel and John start to attack each other when the others show up. Then John demorphed and Ariel stopped attacking him. "John, are you sure you know what you're doing?" Carly said. "She has to see us, she has to be in front of the faces of her real friends." John said. "Do not try to deceive me." Ariel said. Then she ran up to John and started to attack him again when he gave her a hug. "Ariel, it's me John." John said. "John? What's going on? I feel like I know you but everything is just fuzzy, I can't remember anything. No, you're a power ranger, you bring evil and destruction wherever you go." Ariel said. "That's correct, destroy him immediately." Alyssa said. "Ariel, don't do it." Carly said before demorphing. "Ariel, Alyssa has tricked you, we're your friends." Carly said. Then the rest of them demorphed. "Carly is right. Ariel, we're here to help you." Virginia said. "I don't know why but I feel like you're telling me the truth. Is it possible that everything Alyssa told me about you was a lie? I'm so mixed up, I don't know who to believe." Ariel said. "Let me prove it to you." John said before trying to give her true loves kiss but before he could give her true loves kiss she broke away. "No, what is wrong with me? I don't understand!" Ariel said. "This is not what is supposed to happen." Alyssa said. The brain drain was wearing off. "Come on Ariel." John said. "You can't fool me." Ariel said before pulling out an AR-15 semi automatic rifle.

She pointed it at them. "Don't move rangers." Ariel said. "That's the spirit, do it." Alyssa said. "Ariel, don't hurt us. We're your true friends. Alyssa has been fake with you. She's been spreading lies about us, even you. Don't fight us Ariel." John said. "Ariel I know you're in there." Virginia said. "I don't know what you're talking about." Ariel said. "Ariel, please, come back to us. I love you Ariel." John said while grabbing the rifle and lowering it. Then he gave her true loves kiss. "John, is it really you?" Ariel asked. "In the flesh." John said. Then they hugged each other. "John, I missed you so much." Ariel said. "I missed you too." John said. Then they leave. As they were leaving Ariel stopped in her tracks and turned to face Alyssa and her gang. There was a small bridge that she crossed and she pushed it down with her foot. "Good luck with trying to fix the bridge." Ariel said before walking away. "That was way too close. We are never doing that again." Ariel said. "I Agree." John said. "Agreed." The others said. The next day Carly was talking to John. "John, why did you go behind my back to save her?" Carly said. "Because I love her. I know that true loves kiss would work. I had find a way to get close enough to her to give her true loves kiss." John said. "I get it. True loves kiss, works every time." Carly said. "Hey, at least she risked her life to save yours." Virginia said. "Yeah, you have to give her credit for that." Joe said. "Yeah I guess." Carly said. Ariel started to work on her target practice at the pitcairn monroeville sportsmen club. Ariel comes back from the sportsman club two hours later and John walked up to her. "Where were you?" John asked. "The pitcairn monroeville sportsmen club. I was working on some target practice. Let me tell you, if you guys haven't came to rescue me, I've would have been dead meat. Better yet, I would have destroyed you guys then and there." Ariel said. "Remember what happened last time?" John asked. "Oh, yeah, Carly shot me and I was basically near death." Ariel said. "Yep." John said. "Well, I don't think I would've forgiven myself if I did that same thing to any of you guys. I should just be lucky because of you. You lowered the gun." Ariel said. The next day Ariel was talking to Carly about what John did. "How about we pull a prank on him?" Ariel asked. "Like what?" Carly asked. "Kinda something like you did to me but having it be fake. But without the hospital part. I don't want to go through that again." Ariel said. "Okay, let's give it a shot." Carly said. They pulled the prank on him and got him real good. "You bitch, you think this shit is funny? How am I'm supposed to explain that to everybody?" John asked. "Well, you can change your relationship status from single to it's complicated." Ariel said. "You're gonna have to do a lot better than that." John said. "Then how about in a relationship with Ariel Cornell." Ariel said. "Well, we'll have to talk about that." John said. Then they kissed. "Okay, well, good talk." John said. Then they kissed some more. "If you guys want to bang me and the others could totally leave the room." Virginia said. "Honey, they're classy, they're not like us." Josh said.
