Chapter 7 Ariel's fighting spirit part 2 & John is suspended

The green mighty morphin power ranger walks up to her. "It's been a while Ariel, seeing you switch to the face of red." Tommy said. "Seems to work for me, let me guess, you want to fight." Ariel said. "You guessed right." Tommy said. They started to fight and Tommy disarms her and gets her on the ground four times. "You know better than anyone how powerful I am. Why don't you just give up the fight?" Tommy said. "That's one thing I'll never do!" Ariel said. Tommy raised the dragon dagger. "Then I guess this is over." Tommy said. Ariel was just about ready to face death as the alternative but Tommy noticed that her will to live was stronger than any ranger power. "You passed the test." Tommy said while helping Ariel up. "Test? What do you mean by test?" Ariel asked. "You haven't been fighting us, you've been fighting for your life." Jayden said as he walked up to her. "And you've proven that your will to live is stronger than any ranger power." Trent said. Then Tommy gave her the bracelet that she was wearing before. "Good luck red ranger." All of them said. Then Ariel woke up from the coma she was in. John left to help the team about fifteen minutes ago and Ariel talked to the doctor about pulling a death prank on her friends. The doctor was on board with it. She did the prank and got them really good. "I got you guys really good. You guys should have seen your faces." Ariel said. "What the fuck is going on?" John said. "What's going on is this girl just won the bullshit comedy blue ribbon. You are the fucking greatest girl. How was the doctor in on it?" Virginia asked. "I woke up from the coma, I was totally fine so I talked to him about going along with the bit. Hey doc it worked out hilarious, thanks." Ariel said. "No problem UPMC Shadyside." The doctor said. "You bitch, you think this shit is funny? Do you know how devastateed I was? I put a frowny face on Facebook, how am I'm supposed to explain that to everybody?" John said. "Well that means you can change your relationship status from single to complicated." Ariel said. "You're gonna have to do a lot better than that." John said. "Well, how about in a relationship with Ariel Cornell." Ariel said. "Well, we're going to have to talk about that." John said. Then they kissed each other. "Good talk." John said. They kissed each other some more. "Hey, if you guys want to bang me and the others can totally leave the room." Virginia said. "No, Virginia, they're classy. They're not like us." Josh said. The next day Ariel was talking to the rest of the team, especially John. "Placing yourself before the needs of the team places all of you in serious danger. Here I thought you were finally listening to me, and training hard to strengthen the team. I can't believe it's come to this but you've become a risk to the others. I will have to ask you to turn over your morpher." Ariel said. "What? You're benching me?" John said. "It pains me to say it, but I don't think you're truly ready to be a power ranger." Ariel said. "I'm tired of your lectures, you don't know a thing about me. And if I'm not ready then how can I do this." John said before doing something with his morpher. "Stop this." Ariel said. "John, stop." Virginia said. "Okay, that's enough." Carly said. "None of you understand. Fuck this shit, I'm out." John said before leaving. About a day after that John was hanging out with his other friends and Ariel was wondering if he'll ever come back. "Hey, are you okay?" Carly said while walking up to her. "Just thinking about something." Ariel said. "Do you think John is going to come back?" Carly asked. "I don't think he ever wants to come back but we need him back. I just hope that I can get him to come back to the team." Ariel said. Later that night Ariel couldn't sleep. She couldn't stop thinking about John. Carly couldn't sleep either. Carly met with Ariel in her room. "Hey." Carly said. "Hey, couldn't sleep either?" Ariel asked. "Yeah." Carly said. "I'm just worried about John, what if he gets captured and brainwashed again?" Ariel asked. "I would let you rescue him yourself but like you said, no one on this team should do a mission alone." Carly said. The next day Ariel decided to go out to see if she can find John along with Carly. "I have a feeling that I know where he could be. He usually hangs out with his friends at the cafe. There have been a few times when I've seen him there with his friends." Ariel said. "We could try the cafe first then I was thinking that if he's not there we can see if he is at the community park." Carly said. "Sounds good to me." Ariel said. They go to the cafe but he is not there. They go to the community park and see him at the amphitheater with his friends. "Looks like they're doing a roleplay." Carly said. Then Ariel noticed Alyssa. Alyssa came with some of her minions. "John, look out!" Ariel yelled as she ran to protect him. The rest of the team showed up and they fought off Alyssa and her minions. "Rangers, you might have won this battle but you just lost the war." Alyssa said. After Alyssa left John ran off. "Why is he running off?" Virginia asked. "I don't know but I'm going after him to find out. I'll meet you guys back at the headquarters." Ariel said. Then she left and the others go back to the headquarters. When John got to the elementary school Ariel caught up with him. "Hey John, wait up." Ariel said. "What?" John asked. "I was wrong to tell you that you weren't ready to be a power ranger. Our team told me that you helped them." Ariel said. Then she gave him his morpher. "Will you come back to the team?" Ariel asked. "No." John said. "John, we need you, it's where you belong." Ariel said. "Okay, fine." John said.
