Chapter 4 Ariel saves her friend part 2 & Carly joins the team

Alyssa's brain drain was wearing off. "Come on Carly." Ariel said. "You can't fool me." Carly said while pulling out a gun and pointing it at them. "Don't move." Carly said. "That's the spirit girl. Do it." Alyssa said. "Carly, I know you're in there. Please, don't do this." Ariel said. Then Carly shoots the gun and the bullet hit Ariel and she goes down. Then she snaps out of the brainwash. "Ariel, oh no! What have I done?" Carly said. They take Ariel to the hospital. "How dare you shoot your old best friend! How could you do that to her!" John said. "Hey, you can't blame her. She was under Alyssa's spell." Virginia said. "No Virginia, John is right. She might die because of me. I don't think that I can ever forgive myself if she dies." Carly said. "Carly, she once told me that if she can forgive me I can forgive myself." John said. "Well, how do I know if she forgives me?" Carly said. "Come on, you guys are best friends. You have to believe that she forgives you." John said. "John is right Carly. You have to believe that she'll be okay." Virginia said. Then Carly leaves. "Oh man, I bet she feels really bad about this." Joe said. The next day Carly goes to the hospital to stay with Ariel. She even brought her stuffed animal wolf that she named Cassie. "Hey girl, it's me your bff Carly. I'm so sorry. It's my fault you're in here. I talked to your friends and they said that I should stay with you. I won't leave your side except to get something to eat, something to drink, and to use the restroom. But other than that I won't leave your side." Carly said.

Five months go by and Ariel wakes up. "C-Carly, is it really you?" Ariel asked. "Yeah, it's really me, your old bff." Carly said. "I don't believe you." Ariel said. "What did I do?" Carly said. "You shot me, the real Carly would never do that." Ariel said. "Ariel, you have to believe me. I was under her spell." Carly said. "How do I know that you're telling me the truth?" Ariel asked. Then Carly showed her the bracelet she has. "Wait, you're from a werewolf pack too?" Ariel asked. "Used to be. Just kept the bracelet as a reminder for what I really was." Carly said. "So, you're really on my side?" Ariel asked. "Yeah, I'm on your side. I only realized that after I shot you." Carly said. "That evil bitch must be stopped." Ariel said. "You're still weak, maybe I should take over for a while." Carly said. "I'm the leader of the team Carly. I will take the lead." Ariel said. "Ariel, you were out for five months, and you didn't move a single muscle for five months. So maybe I should just take over until you get your strength back." Carly said. "I will have to talk to the rest of the team about this." Ariel said. The next day Ariel's friends go to the hospital with Carly to talk to Ariel about Carly taking over as the leader for a while. "Guys, Carly wants to take over as the leader for a while. I want to know if you guys are okay with it." Ariel said. "I'm okay with it." Joe said. "Same here." Josh said. "That's totally fine." Jane said. "I guess if they're down with it then I guess I'm on board too." Virginia said. "I guess we have no choice." John said. Then Carly turned to Ariel. "I know that I have a lot to make up for, but I promise this time, I won't let you down." Carly said. Then Ariel turned to her friends. "I know that you guys will make her proud of you." Ariel said. Then she gave her morpher to Carly. "Carly, I know that this is hard for you, but I know that you can do it. I have faith in you." Ariel said. "Thanks Ariel." Carly said. Later that day after a battle they were talking to Carly. "Ariel was the one that brought us together. Eventhough she wanted to save you by herself." John said. "She kinda did." Carly said. "It was like she knew that something bad was going to happen and we were going to get caught in it. That's why she wanted to do it alone." Virginia said. "But then you guys showed up." Carly said. "The reason why we showed up was because we thought that it was going to end badly." John said. A few days later Ariel was working on getting her strength back. She was able to go home to work on getting her strength back. A few weeks go by and Ariel got most of her strength back. She walked to the community park and met with her friends. "Hey guys, I almost have all of my strength back." Ariel said. "That's good." Carly said while giving her the morpher back. "She did great as the leader." John said. "I'm glad that you guys ended up getting along." Ariel said. "She had some great plans to win against the bad guys. Maybe she should join our team." Virginia said. "Well Carly, what do you think? Would you like to be on the team?" Ariel asked. "Of course I would." Carly said. Then Ariel gave her the morpher she was working on while she was getting her strength back. "Alright, you won't regret this." Carly said. "You better not make me regret this decision, or else." Ariel said. "Or else what?" Carly said. "Oh, you'll find out." John said. "You don't want to find out. Trust me." Ariel said. "Don't worry, I won't make you regret this decision." Carly said. "Carly, if something happens to me you have to lead the team, okay?" Ariel said. "Okay." Carly said. Then Alyssa showed up and wants to capture Carly again but then Ariel battled Alyssa and got captured by her while protecting Carly. "That's what I was afraid of." Carly said. "Hey, it's just like you leading the team when Ariel couldn't." John said. "We might as well come up with a plan to rescue her. She would do the same for any of us." Carly said. They go to make a plan but John has a different idea.
