Chapter 39 || Breaking

Little did she know...

Her father is in danger.

A black car parked infront of the house and a hooded guy got off with a knife on his hands.

He took out the spare keys and opened the door. The guy closed the door behind him as he entered.

"Alex? You're back already?", narinig niya ang boses ng matanda mula sa kwarto. Dahan-dahan siyang pumunta doon at binuksan ang kwarto.

The father is shocked to see the guy holding a knife in his hands. He was about to call his name when the guy immediately grabbed a pillow and tried to suffocate him.

He's struggling to get the pillow off him but the guy is too strong. Diniinan pa ito ng lalaki.

Alex's father suddenly stopped moving and his hands dropped. His breathing stopped too.

Umurong ang lalaki. Nanginginig ang mga kamay nito. He's supposed to kill the man with the knife but he can't. He just can't.

Palabas na sana siya ng kwarto ng pigilan siya ng kasama niyang naka-abang sa may pintuan.

"You must kill him with a knife to assure he's dead."

"But his pulse is gone. He's dead now."

"JUST DO IT. Do it or I'll make sure I'll get your friends, your girlfriend and Alex killed recklessly infront of you.", the man threatened, making him take a step back.

"I-i can't to this to Alex, Mr.-"

"Kill him or I'll kill everyone?"

At the fear of everyone he loves being killed, he turned around and approached the lifeless body.

Itinapat niya ang kutsilyo sa may puso ng bangkay. His hands are trembling.

"Just do it!!", the man suddenly pushed down the knife he was holding and stabbed the Alex's father in his heart.

A scared look is in the guy's eyes. The man is just smirking. "Oh how I wished I did this a long time ago... brother.", the man said and left the young guy.

"What have I done?", he trembled. Tears flowing out of his eyes. Hands full of blood. He ran out of the house.

20 minutes later...

"Pa-papa... pa. PAPA.", she screamed while rivers of tears flowed down to her cheeks.

She ran towards the bloody body with a knife strucked on its chest. Humagulgol siya habang hinahawakan ang duguang bangkay.

"Sinong gumawa sayo.... Papa... pa..", she can hardly breathe anymore.

With his trembling hands, Clark called the police and an ambulance. His heart clenches everytime Alex screams in pain.

"Bakit.... BAKIT NILA GINAWA TO"

The body was rushed to the hospital and the police started to investigate the crime scene.

"Ms. Clemonte, we can't save him. He was stabbed in his heart and it's been an hour since he was murdered."

"No, pls doc. You have to save him!!", Alex's desperate cry echoed. Clark is trying to hold her back as she was trying to kneel infront of the doctor as she begged.

"Love, please tama na-"

"Bitawan mo ko.", malakas na sabi ni Alex habang pilit na inaalis ang pagkahawak sa kanya ni Clark.

"Sabing bitawan mo ko!!", she's obviously loosing control and her thoughts are all over the place.

Natulak niya ng malakas palayo ang binata. Lalapitan na siya dapat ulit nito nang mapigilan ito ni Axel na kararating pa lang.
