Chapter 27 || Theo and Abigale's Story

Bumuntong-hininga si Theo habang inaayos ang kanyang pananamit. Iginilid niya ang tingin niya para sulyapan ang dalagang naglalagay ng pampakulay sa labi.

"Ang pula ng lipstick mo ah. Sino mga customers mo ngayon?", he broke the silence. Tinignan siya nito at sumagot. "Those creepy guys.", ani nito at ipinatong ang kanyang hawak sa lamesa.

A worried look is plastered on Theo's face. "Pwede ka naman siguro makiusap sa manager natin na wag nalang tanggapin yung reservation ng mga lalaking yon.", sabi niya habang naglalagay ng sapatos.

She sighed. "Baka sabihin nanamang ang arte ko sa customer eh. Tayo na nga lang itong nakiusap na magtrabaho kahit hindi pa tayo legal.", balik naman ng dalaga.

"Pero Abi-"

"We need this to survive, Theo."

"Pwede naman na ako nalang yung magtrabaho eh. Ako naman ang lalaki sa ating dalawa-"

Napatigil siya sa sinasabi nang makita niyang uminom ng pills ang dalaga. "You're still drinking that pills? Abigale, sinabihan ka na ng doktor na wag kang umiinom ng ganyan. It's damaging your body.", galit na tugon niya habang kinukuha ang lalagyanan ng pills sa kamay ng dalaga.

"I need that to stay in shape.", seryosong sabi naman ni Abi at kinuha pabalik ang mga pills niya.

"You don't have to-"

"I have to. There's no way na ikaw lang ang magsisikap para lang mabuhay tayong dalawa."

Sasagot pa sana ang binata nang magsalita muli ang dalaga. "Hindi ba ayaw mo din naman itong trabahong ito? Ayaw mo din yung ginagawa mo, diba? Pero hindi ka pwedeng umalis kasi alam mong kailangan mo ng trabaho. Pareho lang tayo, Theo."

Wala ng nasagot ang binata dahil pumasok bigla ang iba nilang mga kasamahan.

"Hanap na kayo ni Boss.", ani ng isa. He forced a smile and went out. Abigale followed him.

They stopped walking and faced their manager. He looked at them up and down and smirked. "Looks like mas mapapasaya niyo ngayon mga customers ah."

Both of them fake smiled at him. "Syempre.", Theo said with his innocent smile, putting up the gullible act.

Their manager escorted them towards the door. They both sighed. They knew that the moment they step in, they won't be theirselves. They will be the Theo and Abigale that works in this Illegal Host Club.

They'll do everything what a customer says because they work to make customers happy. Kahit pa illegal yan.

Yes, hindi sila pinanganak na mayaman. They lived in an orphanage but ended up getting kicked out just because the people there doesn't want them.

And because of that, they ended up in this mess. They lived their lives as puppets that get played by many people.

Theo, the innocent and gullible guy that makes every man and woman happy because they can make him do everything they want. Abigale, the girl with many persona. All the customer had to do is choose the persona and she will be in that persona.

Their past explains why they're like this in the present. Para bang naging parte na ito ng pagkatao nila.

They hadn't thought of getting out of that Illegal business until Alex and Elijah came into the scene.

Abigale was being forced to drink drugs when a boy around her age came and beat up the man. Almost killing the man with punches.

Kung hindi lang pinigilan ni Alex, baka hindi na buhay yung matandang lalaki na iyon.

The second time around, they saved Theo. He was being forced to strip.

Halos mangiyak-ngiyak ang binata dahil labag ito sa kanyang kalooban. He was about to do what his customers want but a hand stopped him from doing so.

Alex kidnapped him, escaping the filthy place. The four of them sat together in the grassland beside a river.

That's where Alex said the sentence that made Abigale and Theo quit their job.

"Don't force yourself into something you don't want.", she says and smiled at them. The kindest smile they've ever seen from a stranger.

Siya rin ang dahilan kung bakit nagkapamilya and dalawa. Isang utos lang niya sa mga tauhan niya, nakahanap na siya ng pamilya na magmamahal sa kanilang dalawa.

The only problem is that they have to keep their past a secret. That dark secret. They have to because their new families were Elites.

An Elite should not have a bad reputation. Dapat malinis ang pangalan.

That is why Elijah hired an assasin. Pinapatay niya lahat ng may kaugnayan sa dating buhay ng dalawa. He made sure their name is clean.

He did it to protect. Para sa mga kaibigan niya. He is the one who protects his friends no matter the cost. That's his obsession and it's scaring every human who knows him.

The question is..

What is the reason behind his over protectiveness?
