18. MOON

Don't call me your Sun,
The center of your galaxy.
Cause I'm the fucking Moon
Just a lonley nobody.

I don't shine your day,
But i do steal your light,
And when you mask in dusk
I pretend to burn so bright.

And of course I never blind you.
You don't see me through the shades.
Cause I'm an awkward cerulean.
Struck between love and hate.

I don't get it, why you look,
At me through worshipping eyes.
As though I'm the reason
Of your ripen grain and rice.

1i hat the way you pray to me.
And offer me your sweet soul
This blue trepidation us too much,
I'll just consume you whole.

Why do you love me? Anyway
I'm leaving really soon.
And if someone asks for me,
Tell them I'm the moon.
