An inhuman ritual for womens.
Which is a really a bad custom which started in the outskirts of Rajasthan as I mean to say in village area of rajasthan.
That was really famous at that time. Here, many women's are killed by claiming them to be the known of the witchcraft
And claim them to the witch who kill little kids. And just by this they are brutally murdered. Due to this ritual many women's were killed .
In 16th century, rajputs had banned this ritual in order to keep the safety of women's.
First of all, in 1853 king swaroop of mewar , he had make this law to ban these kind of stuff in kherwada, because it has become the epicenter of this kind of stuff there.
This is the kind of custom where the women is killed just
Claiming that she is possessed or something, and she have some evil spirit surrounding her. She was considered to be the disgrace over the society.
Hence, she was killed by burning to death or beating her to death or sometimes her head is even slit off. This custom
Was famous between many kind of backward classes of the rajasthani society, mewari dalit society, bheel, mina etc.
In this it belive that a inauspicious a evil spirit entered a persons body and if it enters in man's body then he is called to be ghost. If this spirit is over a women then she is called to be witch. And that witch known to be dakan.
