Epilogue: His Proposal

"Dad and Mum! I'm back! Jihye opened the door and drag in bags and bags of items bought for her parents.

"Aigoo, our dear daughter. Today is your birthday, why did you bring so many things back instead?"

"It's Mum and Dad who brought your beautiful daughter to the world. Of course, I got to be good to both of you." 

"Wait a minute, I have two more bags. Unnie! Help me out!" Jihye waves her hand and pointed to the corridor.

"Hey, stop and wait and minute. What's that on your ring finger?" Jiwoo stops and stares at the shiny stone that wraps around Jihye's ring finger.

"Did Min Yoongi finally propose to you? After five years?"

Jihye took in a deep breath and answered, "Yeap."

"He did it. Last week."

"What?! How come we have no idea about it?"

"Because..."

*Flashback*

After a month of consecutive schedule, Min Yoongi finally got his break.  It's already 12 pm. It's a blessing that he could wake up late with Jihye right beside him.

"Oppa~" Jihye half asleep, rubbing her eyes.

"hmm?" Yoongi squirmed and tighten his hug around Jihye's waist.

"I'm hungry..."

"Let's order in today. I'm don't have the energy get up to cook." Yoongi gave a peck on Jihye's cheek with his eyes closed.

"Never mind. Let's just continue to sleep. The hunger will go away later."

"Hmm." Yoongi tucks Jihye's foot into the blanket.

Ten minutes later.

"Are you free today?" Min Yoongi randomly pops out with a question.

"Hmm?" Jihye, who was about to fall asleep again, was slightly annoyed by Yoongi's word. But the next sentence that came out from his mouth completely woke her up.

"Let's go to the local district office to... register our marriage."

"Hmmm...ahhh?!" 

"I was thinking... in case I got busy again." Yoongi fumbled and took out a blue ring box from the bedside table. 

"Ring." He tossed the ring box next to Jihye. "We can have it changed in the afternoon if you don't like the design."

Jihye looked dumbfounded. Is she being proposed right now? As expected of Min Yoongi. Such kind of proposal would have pissed off any woman, except for Kim Jihye. 

Jihye took out the silver band from the box and put it on her ring finger without a second thought.

"Let's sleep for a while more." Jihye hugged Yoongi back. Yoongi's smile raised slightly and fell asleep with his 'wife'.

"By the way... who should we ask to be our witness of marriage?"

"Maybe Jimin and Hobi? I'll call them later to see if they are free or not?"

*End of Flashback*

"What?! So the both of you registered your marriage already?" Jiwoo screamed.

"Nope. In the end, the members were not free. So we slept through the day. But... theoretically speaking, I'm Mrs. Min now. We will find another day for the registration."

"How about your wedding ceremony?"

"We thought that since Corona's situation is pretty bad, we could just do without it. We thought of arranging a dinner between both families." (Actually both Yoongi and Jihye would never like to have a wedding ceremony. It's not something their personalities enjoy and Imagine the fans know it???)

"An-dwaeeee! (Nooo!)" Jihye's dad has been listening to their daughters' conversation. He could no longer hold himself in to only find out everyone in the family only got to find out about Jihye's marriage proposal now.

"Dad..." Jihye and her sister looking at their Dad, speechless. This is their first time seeing their Dad reacting so strongly to anything.

"Give a call to my son-in-law now! I want to speak to him now!"

"Old man, cool down..." Jihye's mum is coaxing her agitated husband. "It's their wedding, they should be the one making the final decision that they are most comfortable with."

This is the first time Jihye seeing the situation turn around for his mum and dad.

Dad: My dearest daughter's wedding that I'm dying to see. I want to see my daughter in a wedding dress. Dad wants to hold your hand down the aisle.

Jihye: uhhhh... Dad.... Yoongi-ssi is probably working right now.

Dad: Call him and arrange for dinner! Even if it is at 3 am!

Jihye looking at his Dad bring so firm with his decision, she has no choice but to give a call to Yoongi.

"Hello~ Oppa, I think we're in trouble..."

[Today is 13 September... basically is me and Jihye's birthday. So this chapter is a little birthday present for both of us.]
