(Do you get the title?)

Annabeth

Percy and me walked into Greek both out of breath, and red as tomato's. Percy walked towards the back and sat in an empty seat in the corner. And I walked up to the teachers desk for my books and to check to make sure I was caught up on work since we were already 2 weeks into the school year. The teacher was an old kinda scary looking lady. You know in Snow White when the evil queen transforms into an old hag? Yea I'm pretty sure this was the same person. But instead of a cloak she was wearing a very unflattering to her knees tight tongue pink skirt and a green shirt with a unbuttoned pink cardigan. She looked away from her computer and spoke "You must be Annabelle. Here." She gestured to a pile of books on her desk labeled Greek texts 101. Her voice sounded raspy and annoyed. Wonder who she reminds me of? Oh yea! My evil step mom. Wohoo. I have two horrible old ladies out for my soul. Cool. "Oh and you can sit in the back with Perry Jonson."
I looked back at the rows of desks and Percy raised his hand signaling that he was the so called, "Perry"
I walked over and sat down in the desk setting my books down. Then I decided to poke some fun at Percy. "Hello Perry." I laughed a little as I said it.
"Yea she doesn't do names well. Also she doesn't teach Greek correctly either. Just watch." He sounded amused like a show was about to start and that mischievous grin grew across his face again. He was up to something. Something fun. Then the teacher spoke to the class. "Today we will learn how to write Greek. So here's the full alphabet." Then she started writing on the board the alphabet. Everyone started talking notes in there books so I did the same. Fun fact about me I have been raised talking Greek because my mother spoke it. When I finished I looked at Percy to see he was already finished as well with it. When the teacher finally stoped writing on the board, she looked at me and Percy. "Annabelle! Perry! Get to work!"
"I'm done miss. I finished about when you were writing the third letter." Percy's voice was just dripping with sass. And I was holding back a laugh. Then the teacher pointed at him with a ruler.
"At the end of this ruler there is an idiot." At this all the other popular boys were smirking. And the girls were giggling way to girly for my taste.
"Which end?" Percy spoke confidently and the teacher backed off picking up a slip from her desk. "Detention!"
"But what did I do?"
Her face fell. She didn't have a good reason for getting onto him. She looked defeated. And she went back to teaching the class as normal with of course the occasional glare at Percy or as she knows him "Perry". Then she decided to test me on my skill and knowledge of Greek. She told me to speak the Greek I know. I thought about what Percy said about how she doesn't teach correctly and decided to test that for myself. So I started with a simple "hello" in Greek. She looked at me confused. And she took a quick glance in her textbook to find what I had said. And she attempted to respond. But instead of saying hello like she was supposed too she said umbrella. And I responded by saying "I dislike you." In a flattering tone. She gave a small smirk smile and went on with her lesson again. Then I looked back at Percy and he looked like he was about to burst into laughter any second. Then he nodded. We had done all we could to this horrible woman and only we knew it.

Percy
I can't believe she just did that. That was brilliant. And hilarious. I swear if I could've I would have burst into tears of laughter but of course that would've ruined it. You might be wondering why the teacher is so mean. And to that we don't know. She just is. Mrs. Dodd's is just that type of person. And she hated my father. She is VERY choosy and dislikes everyone.
"RING!"
I jumped a little in my seat. And as I looked over Annabeth was laughing at my sudden surprise.
"Shut up." I tried to sound as annoyed as possible but truthfully I wasn't mad. I couldn't be. Something about Annabeth was comforting.
"Sorry."
She sounded genuinely worried like she was scared.
"I'm messing with you. It was funny."
A look of relief grew on her face and her smile returned.
"We should head out before Mrs. Dodd's decides to kill us"
"Please."
We both walked to our lockers joking all the way down the hall. We met Piper, Jason, and Leo at the lockers. "Hey Leo."
"Hey Perce. Who's the new girl? Is this the one you trampled?"
I looked at Annabeth and she was smiling widely at Leo's remarks.
"Yep that's me. And you must be Leo."
They shook hands and then looked at Piper and Jason. They were staring at each other. Having a "moment" as you could call it. All of us knew they liked each other and Jason even admitted it in a game of truth or dare when we were at Leo's house. But he refused to think she liked him back. Just then annabeth pulled me close and whispered in my ear. "Are they a thing yet?"
"No not yet won't admit to each other."
"Got it."
We separated and Leo cleared his throat.
"I don't know about you guys but I'm starving. So can we go to lunch? Please."
"Yes Leo we can."
Then I looked at Annabeth.
Her face had a worried expression.
"Don't worry. I made a promise didn't I?"
She gave me a half smile and we walked off to lunch.
