Trollstopia Ep 9: Bat-Sitting

It's a clear sky day at Trollstopia. The sun rose above the Volcano Rock City. Barb is sleeping like a slob while her pet bat, Debbie, is sleeping on her owner's nose. Once Debbie wakes up, she licks Barb's face on her open drooling mouth, which awakens her by surprise. But she smiled at Debbie and hugged her in affection.

"Good morning, Debbie. Another fine day in Trollstopia," said Barb, while going into her closet.

Debbie flies over to a bowl of living bugs and eats them like a savage.

When Barb comes out of the closet in her regular clothes, she stretches her arms while saying, "always remember to stretch before starting your day. Debbie, are you done with your breakfast yet?"

When Debbie finished eating, she flew onto Barb's shoulder, so both of them walked out of the bedroom. The two go into the kitchen where Barb opens the refrigerator, takes out a jug of orange juice, and chugs it down. She then gives Debbie a strawberry, which she swallows it whole. After Barb puts the orange juice back in the refrigerator and closes it, a phone that looks like a skull rings.

Barb picks it up and answers it, "Sup, this is Rock Castle. Queen Barb, speaking. Oh, hello! I was going to ask you that... What? You're sick?!... But I got a schedule; I need you to watch Debbie.... Find a replacement? ....For how long? ....Until tomorrow? Ok. Goodbye, brah."

After Barb hangs up, she then says, "Well, Debbie. I'm going to have to find you a new person to look after you for the whole day. Maybe I'll ask a few people..."

At Pop Village, Poppy is watering her flower bed that's the shape of her and Branch holding hands.

"How cute," she commented.

"Hey, Poppy!" said Barb, going to her with Debbie on her shoulder.

"Hi, Barb--AAAHH!!! There's something on your shoulder!" said Poppy, seeing Debbie in fear.

"That's my pet bat, Debbie. Can you look after her for me? I got a lot of things to do."

"Oh, um...Sorry...But I got a busy schedule too..."

"You don't want to do it, do you?"

"Uh... it's not that. It's because Debbie is well, how do you say this...um..."

"Terrifying?"

"No, but a little bit like that."

"I know you think she's terrifying, but that's how she is. I ask a lot of people who are good with animals before you, but they all found my hairy baby scary. Do you know where Biggie is?"

"Sure, he's working out with Smidge over there."

When Poppy points to Biggie and Smidge doing push-ups while Mr. Dinkles watches them, Barb goes to them while Poppy says, "I hope Biggie can handle Debbie's appearance."

When Barb approaches the two trolls and worm, Biggie and Smidge scream after seeing Debbie.

"Biggie, can you look after my little furball for me?" Barb asks while caressing Debbie with her finger as Debbie cuddles Barb on the face.

"Oh, I...well..." said Biggie.

But when Barb, Biggie, and Smidge notice Debbie staring at Mr. Dinkles like she wants to eat him, Biggie picks up Mr. Dinkles in worry, and then Smidge says, "does Debbie have a thing for worms?"

"Oh, yeah. I forgot Mr. Dinkles is a worm. Debbie's favorite snack is worms," said Barb, holding Debbie not to let her try to eat Mr. Dinkles.

"Well, I'm sorry, Queen Barb, but I can't look after a creature that can eat Mr. Dinkles' kind," said Biggie.
