"Hey Nico."

"Hey Will."

"Where did you get that sushi from?"

Nico looked down at his pair of chopsticks and tray of sushi before looking back up at Will and just shrugging, popping another roll in his mouth.

"Want one?" he asked.

"Oh, yeah. Sure."

Nico picked up another piece and popped it into Wills mouth before nodding and walking away. Will watched him walk off whilst eating his sushi, questions running through his head. It wasn't mealtime, so where did he get that food from? And how was it very fresh?

A few days later, Nico had finished helping out some of the new kids, and he was feeling hungry. He was craving something but he didn't know what. He hummed in thought as he changed into casual clothes before leaving his cabin and disappearing.

He was gone for a while and returned later, sitting at the Hades table from the shadows. It was a natural occurrence for him to just shadow travel anywhere at random times so nobody batted an eye. However, this time, he was eating something that was steaming hot and wafted an amazing smell around the dining pavilion. The gang all walked over to his table, since it was normal for them to eat together nowadays, and gawped  at the food in front of Nico.

"What is that?" Percy asked.

"Ramen. Braised pork, noodles, beansprouts, egg, ginger, green onion, and soy sauce." Nico said as he pointed to all of the ingredients in the bowl.

"It looks delicious." said Hazel.

"Here." Nico said, holding out a piece of meat with his chopsticks for Hazel; she took it with a thankyou and ate it happily.

"How did you get it?" Piper asked.

"With money? How else?"

"I mean, where?"

"Korea."

"What?!"

"Yeah, I was hungry after training so I shadow travelled there and went to a local restaurant."

"You can just do that?" asked Annabeth.

"Why not?"

"True."

Once more, a week or so later, Nico was sitting on the porch of the big House and talking with Mr.D. He was the only person in camp minus his son that Mr.D would talk to nicely and use his correct name. They were discussing a recent incident that Hades had reported to Nico. On the table infront of the Italian was a delicious looking bowl of pasta.

"Let me guess." Piper said as they met him on the porch. "Italy?"

"No, the kitchen actually." Nico explained.

"Wait, what?"

"Di Angelo here is a good chef." Mr.D commented.

"Really?"

"It's not difficult." Nico said with a shrug.

"Can we try?" Jason asked.

"Yeah, sure." replied Nico, allowing everyone to take a bite and smiled a little at their compliments...

"Come on. Chinese food! From China?" Will asked.

"Yep." Nico confirmed before eating a duck pancake.

"Is it nice?"

Nico nodded with a small grin as he saw the envious look on Will's face.

"If I payed you for the food would you consider getting me something from somewhere?" Will asked shyly.

"I'm not a delivery service."

No, I know it-"

"Chill, you can just come with me. I'm not bothered."

"Really? Sweet. When?"

"I don't know yet."

"Let me know. Thanks Nico!" Will cheered before returning to the Infirmary.

Nico just shook his head and walked away. To be honest, he wasn't a big fan of the food at camp since it just appeared and didn't always look too delicious. Since his appetite has slowly been returning and he was burning a lot of energy on the daily then he had to have good quality food. It wasn't an issue for him to come and go from camp as he pleases- since he was staying here permanently now- so he thought he could use it to his advantage. And, going different places was a good way for him to learn about the world he had missed out on for almost a century. A few days later and he was inside the Infirmary with Will, who insisted he helped him with the paperwork. Of course this was incredibly boring but he had nothing else to do.

"I'm hungry." he announced, standing up and putting the papers away.

"What are you in the mood for?" Will asked.

"I'm not sure."

"Where, then?"

"Hm... Singapore."

"What-"

"Come on, it's dead now anyways." Nico said, leaving the room for Will to follow him which he did. He grabbed the blond's arm and they merged into the shadows, the darkness pulling them miles away.

"Okay, I don't like doing that." Will said, holding onto his stomach.

"You get used to it eventually." Nico replied, beginning to make his way over to the market ahead.

"You do this whenever you feel like it?"

"Yeah, I can't really stomach camp food. It's alright, but this is better."

"Ah, then I will make sure you eat a lot. Doctor's orders."

"Yeah yeah, whatever."

They spent a few minutes going around to all different stores and buying different foods to eat. Everyone was really nice and gladly spoke English so Will could order well enough. At last they sat at a small table and began to eat.

"I'm glad your appetite is back." Will commented with a smile as Nico ate a pork rib.

"Oh shut up and eat solace." Nico replied, grinning as he shoved a piece of chicken into Will's mouth to silence him. The blond chuckled and ate the food happily, his eyes widening at how good it was.

"Much better, right?" asked Nico.

"Definitely."
