The Red String ( Kiyoko x Yachi )

train ride

yachi's pov

i wake up at 6am to get ready for school since i live about 40 minutes away from the school if i walk, but if i ride the bus then it takes 20 minutes.

i roll out of bed and look in the mirror. " ugh i need to cut my hair again... it's getting too long" i say to myself. i walk into the bathroom and get myself ready for school. i walk back into my room and put on my uniform and put my hair up in its side half up ponytail.

as i'm walking out of my room i see my mom in the kitchen which was surprising because i never see her in the mornings

" oh hi mom. uh what are you doing here? " my mom looks up at me with a confused look

" i mean this is my house too. so shouldn't i be able to be here too?"

" i- i mean you're never here in the mornings" i say nervously.

" oh well i wanted to tell you that i need to talk to you after school, it's important so don't be late! come home by 6:00pm at the latest" my mom says

" y- yes ma'am!" i walk to the door and grab my bag and put on my shoes. i step out side and walk to the train station. i see kiyoko waiting there... why is she here? i notice the red string attached to my pinky was getting shorter as i was getting closer to the black haired girl.

'i wonder if she can also see thing string... well duh if i can see that my string is attached to her pinky then she must see that her string is attached to my pinky... maybe i should tell her? BUT HOWWW LIKE DO I ASK HER BY A NOTE?!' while i was getting confused on either if i should tell kiyoko or not. i hear her call out my name

" hey! yachi!! i was looking for you!" she said while waving her hand, signaling me to come over. i walk over to her and i wave

" h- hi kiyoko. uhm what are you doing at the train station? i thought you walked to school" man... WHY DO I KEEP STUTTERING AROUND AHHHHH SHES GONNA THINK IM WEIRDDDDDD

" i just wanted to walk to school with you" kiyoko smiled after saying that... and damn her smile was cute

" you know you don't have to come all the way over here... i don't wanna bother you every day" i say shyly 

" oh nono it's fine! i like the silence in the train early in the morning!! plus i need to ask you something" damn i kinda forgot about the whole manger thing...

"o- oh... is it about the club manager thing? if so i'll like to do it! those boys seem like too much for one person to handle" i look up at kiyoko smiling

" really?! well we gotta get to school fast then! we gotta tell the team!! they'll be so excited to have a new manager" kiyoko says excitedly and grabbing my hand to get on the train that we almost missed

me and kiyoko run into the train and find a place to stand in the somewhat crowded train. me and kiyoko are standing next to each other... but we're still holding hands. i wonder if she forgot we were holding hands

  kiyokos pov

    me and yachi are standing next to each other... still holding hands. i mean i don't want to let go of her hand but yet i don't wanna scare her. after the 20 minute train ride me and yachi step off of the train and start to walk towards the school. we stopped holding hands when a man on the train accidentally bumped into us... kinda rude if you ask me, i really wanted to hold yachi's hand for a bit longer

   
     school starts at 8:30 am but we got to school around 7 am for morning practice. i told yachi about the times and day's practice is. i could tell that she was scared since yesterday she got surrounded by the boys on the team.

    we walk into the gym while talking. as we walk in you can hear kageyama and hinata arguing and everyone else talking. right when yachi sees everyone she hides behind me

" hi everyone" i say, everyone going silent

" good morning kiyoko" everyone says. it's kinda crazy how all of these boys can say that at the same time-

i walk to a chair with yachi walking behind me. " okay so everyone... we have a new manager, you guys met her yesterday so there's no need for introductions again" i say calmly. setting down a chair for yachi to sit in

" yachi, why don't you say hi to everyone?" i whisper to the shorter girl next to me. she looks up at me at then at the team, she opens her mouth

" h- hi everyone, i'll b- be helping kiyoko from now on" she says while fidgeting

we start practice and i tell yachi how things work during practice. practice ends, me and yachi say goodbye to the team and leave the gym

" that was scary..." yachi says, looking down

" you'll get used to it, at first i was scared of them because of how loud they are... but once you get comfortable with them then you'll be able to talk to them and give them feedback" i look down at yachi. i stop walking, causing the short blonde to stop walking too

i look at her and pat her head...

" wha- what was that f- for..."

" you did a good job today" i smile at her

"t- thank you" yachi looks down again

" do you want me to walk you to your class?" i ask

" oh no it's fine, you don't have too" yachi says shyly

" nono i want too. so if you don't mind... let's gooooo!" i grab yachi's hand and i walk her to her class. once we get there we say our good byes and i head to my own class

|| WHATS UPPPP IM BACK... it hasnt been that long... right?! uhhh im sorry about not updating sooner. i kinda got put into the psych hospital for a week and then i got superrrr unmotivated for a week and now i have a crap ton of work to dooooo... uh yeahhhhh. alsooooo i can't reply to any messages because my wattpad is a butt. i noticed someone messaged me and i wanted to reply to them but my wattpad wouldn't let meeee :(( i'll try my best to update as soon as possible!! and i bet my writing is getting worse so, sorry about that. i hope y'all are doing alright and i'll see you next time i update!! ||
