training camp

big time skip to the training camp ( iM soRry i'm LaZy )

some information before we get into the story: okay so basically yachi has figured out that kiyoko is her soulmate. but on the other hand kiyoko kinda gave up looking for her soulmate because she's been looking for about two years, even tho kiyoko and yachi hangout a lot kiyoko hasn't paid attention to their string since they met, she thought she saw the red string but she didn't want to risk it. yachi has already figured out everyone's names. okay enjoy reading!!

kiyokos pov

its been about three months since yachi joined the volleyball team as the new manager, we're at a training camp with other teams. since it's the first training camp we've been too i'm kinda excited! i get to stay overnight with yachi!! yeah we've hung out outside of school but we never have had a sleepover, i know this training camp is for the team to get better at volleyball but i can have fun with yachi and the other managers!

the first day of the training camp was great, except for the fact that yachi was scared all day by all the tall guys around. she was most scared of kuroo, bokuto, and that yamamoto dude. i wasn't surprised, she has social anxiety after all . i rubbed her back and let her squeeze my hand so she would stay calm. i didn't mind at all... but it seems like the only people she's comfortable with are me, hinata, yamaguchi, and sugawara

it's about 6pm now and me, yachi, and the other teams managers are making dinner for the teams. we made curry with rice. yachi is surprisingly really good at cooking which is pretty cool if you ask me

the boys came in to eat while me and the others grabbed food and left to eat with the coaches outside. after dinner we cleaned up and headed to the room we were staying in

we set up our futons and got ready for bed. as i was washing my face, yachi said something particular

" hey kiyoko? have you met your soulmate yet?"

" u- um... no i haven't..."

" oh i'm sorry... i figured since you're a third year that you would have already found them..."

" well i kinda gave up you know... i was looking for about two years but i couldn't find them, so i don't look at my string anymore" i said drying my face

" ah well i just recently gotten mine... about five months ago i think... "

" well have you found them?! if you did would you tell me?" i said kinda excited, grabbing yachi's hands, my glasses still off so i couldn't really see her... i'm just really interested in who's yachi's soulmate, they must be lucky... to have a soulmate as amazing as yachi

" u- um w- well i have but i don't w- wanna tell h- her.." yachi said with her head kinda down trying to hide her obvious blush... it's cute

" YOUR SOULMATE IS A GIRL?!" i said excitedly

" y- yes... um can we talk about this more after we're done getting ready for bed" she said holding back a laugh

" o- oh of course! sorry i just got excited... i get excited when people mention their soulmate " i laughed

yachi laughed and smiled at me... her laugh and smile are so cute... wait- did i just think her laugh and smile are cute?! nono i can't think that! she has a soulmate! and and i have a soulmate! maybe... i should start to look for my soulmate too huh?

we finish getting ready and head to the room with the rest of the mangers. they were looking at us, wiggling their eyebrows... i guess they heard us-

" sooo... are y'all gonna talk about little shortys soulmate" one said

" if she's fine with it, i'm just curious" i say, patting yachi's head

" well we'll leave you guys to talk. we don't want to eavesdrop on y'all's conversation" the same girl says as she and the other stand up and leave the room. me and yachi were left alone in the room... just us two

wOah i actually updated for once?! that's rare 😳 anyways this chapter is kinda short and it sucks but shush, there'll probably be about three parts to the training camp so woo. imma include yachi getting help from hinata, yama, and suga since she is comfortable with them:D also i'll list the soulmates of karasuno below
