Bored.

The perfect word to describe Donghyuck's mood right now. He had just gotten out of the hospital a few weeks ago and he couldn't be bothered to do anything. Well, more like, he wasn't quite allowed to.

The worst thing his aunt ever did was to enroll him back to school, at least, that's what his relatives think. But for Donghyuck? It was the exact opposite.

As much as he hates school, he had been dying to get out of their house. He didn't want to stay cooped up doing hours of talking with his therapist, though he never really payed much attention to him. Donghyuck was confident enough that he didn't need the therapist anymore – or was he?

Sighing, Donghyuck fell back onto his bed, exhausted from the doing absolutely nothing for the past couple of hours. His mind wandered off, deliberating about his new school.

Ilseong Academy.

He could recall his aunt mentioning the name of the school just yesterday. At first, it was all a blur to him – not that he really cared about anything in the first place, but the name of the school rang a few bells in his mind.

An impish grin spread wide across his face as he finally recognized the name of the school, of course, how could he have forgotten Ilseong Academy? But their amusement didn't spark there, it mostly was how interesting life had become after he realized his relatives have chosen him as a representative.

A representative. It was like the word twinkled right in front of him. Being a representative was everything for him last year and they didn't like his passion for it. They absolutely despised his passion for it, his relatives supposed he wasn't good enough. But here he was now, a chosen candidate to play for the throne.

"Are they out of their minds?" Donghyuck scoffed out, "After they throw me in complete isolation...they are bringing me back into the family games?"

No. They just realized how worthy you are. After all, you defeated him.

"Indeed, my friend." He nodded curtly, eyeing himself through the mirror. "We are worthy and we will win."

Bring home the crown and prove them that you are better than him.

"As expected," he chuckled, darting his ominous eyes onto the framed photo he had settled on top of his dresser. His finger twirling with the silver necklace he wore, he smirked, "They just can't win without me, can't they?"

≫≫≫

"Prez!"

With just one simple call, the girl spun around with her eyebrows raised in a questioning manner. "Yue?"

Qiuyue took a deep breath, flashing the President a smile before passing her a piece of paper that consisted the list of transferees. "The list you asked for."

Returning a sweet smile towards the Secretary, she skimmed through the series of names before stopping at a specific name, "Hmm?" Her smile dropped in an instant. Face devoid of any emotion the longer she stared down at the piece of paper.

Qiuyue felt nervous all of a sudden as the tension-ridden air grew larger. It felt stuffy and uncomfortable. Glancing up at the President who seemed to be burning her gaze into a particular name.

"Prez?"

Snapping out of her little reverie, she forced up a smile, passing the list back to Qiuyue. "Thank you, Yue. I won't be needing it anymore."

"Is there something wrong?" Qiuyue questioned, looking down at the piece of paper, not seeming to pick up what the President was perceiving. All of the names seemed normal, at least for a quick second glance.

The President shook her head, "Oh no, nothing's wrong. Just... amused with the new transfers." She shrugged plainly before heading inside the Student Council office.

Qiuyue raised a brow curiously, gazing back down at the list, and began eyeing each and every name until something clicked. Tilting her head a bit to the side, she hummed, "A third representative for the Lee family?"

"Jeez, how many branches does the Lee family even have?"

Biting the insides of her bottom lip out of habit, her troubled gaze fixated on the door. She couldn't register what the President was thinking, but she was for sure it wasn't anything normal. Nothing was normal in this school. From being perfect-posh scions upon entering the school to a bunch of heinous gamblers after class.

Walking into the Council room, seeing the empty tables and chairs made her a bit furious. "Where are they? We have a meeting in ten."

"Yue?"

"Yes, prez?" The said girl shot a look towards the President's direction.

"Make sure to be on watch during the transferee's arrival."

Qiuyue nodded curtly, "Yes, of course."

"Good." Her voice rolled off her tongue clearly, though her tone dropped down. Greyish-blue eyes darted on the middle seat – her seat. The name bounced back in her mind and she let out a laugh. "Another Lee? Interesting."
