All Emily wanted was to reunite with her childhood best friend Louis Tomlinson and work with him as promised. But when she finds out that her best friend doesnt "remember" her at all...... all that her mind is telling her is to say to his face, Rem...
Even after she exited the room, I still couldn't get her out of my head. How is she here ?! Why is she here?! Why did nobody tell me she was coming?!
I had totally freaked out when I saw Emily come into my office even though I didn't show it. How and why and when did she apply for this job? Even though it was killing me to not go there and hug her that very moment I had to remember that I was the CEO of a very big firm and people were frightened by my demeanor. I can't just let people think that I had somehow gotten soft because a random small town girl showed up for the interview, though she was no random girl for me but if this would happen, then people will not take me or my orders seriously anymore.
Seeing her confused and scared little face was crushing my heart, but I just didn't know what to do. If I did not pretend that I didn't know her, the word would spread faster than the speed of sound and when media would get involved, it would be the downfall of my company. But now that I have pretended to not know her, things can't be that bad now can they?
I mean yeah, it's wrong to do so but come on, I'm just doing it to protect my, her's and countless other's jobs.
Yes, I've made up my mind. I'm gonna give her the job. I had made it up the moment she stepped in. Favoritism is bad, I know. But if anyone asks I can always show em' her resume.
Later that day I had this sudden urge to call my mum and ask her if she knew anything about Emily applying for the job. Yes, I do talk to my family but it's usually my mother and sometimes my sisters. I don't know why but I for some reason I had stopped speaking to the Owens. But anyways, I had thought about calling mum and asking; but if she had any contact with Emily she might just tell her the truth that this was all an act. So I refrained from doing so.

While eating dinner an idea popped into my head. It was stupid, but good. It was an idea which allowed me to see her everyday without showing that I knew her. I know people will get the wrong idea of her but come on, I can't just go and meet her at her desk everyday.
So I called Samantha and told her to send Emily Owen an email telling her about her getting selected for the job and I told her to tell Emily a task on her first day that she had to do daily before doing anything.
I spent eating rest of my dinner thinking about the different ways to contact Emily at the firm without anyone knowing anything. I even searched the net for some.
Pleased with my idea, I went to bed and only thought of one thing,
"Work is gonna get so much entertaining"
