*Adelaine's POV*

Today is the day, in a while, I finally get to go home and see my family again. I got the good news from Commanding Officer. Sargent Michaels. After these two agonizing years, I am finally allowed home, to see my loving family again. Thankfully I always had my phone with me and I could facetime my family and friends once a month, it depended on Sargent Michaels. I had Instagram still on my phone but I had to use a fake account so no one would know its me, to say the least, I'm proud for my two darling younger sister. They see to be enjoying their time on making new friends and becoming famous from an app got 'TikTok' I think...I'm not entirely sure because the only app I know that sounds familiar is Musical.ly. I love seeing them smile, and having fun whilst I'm not there. Charli looks like she is getting close to this kid named Lil Huddy? Not quite sure who he is, but I can tell he makes her happy.

I got my bags packed, still in my uniform, army green coloured, with the cap and all. D'Amelio was in black lettering across a small patch on my left side area.

"Boarding now....Flight 789 USA, please make way to gate 17." The pa announced.

I picked up my bags from the floor and got to my seat which was besides my good friends Dean Hurley and Lucie Smith. We met at basic training before all three were stationed in South Korea.

"I'm so excited to come home...hope my family is ok and be very surprised when I come home." Lucie said as we sat down in our seats before take off. the flight was 11 hours long, which is a long flight but it will be worth it in the end.

"I'm looking forward to see Charli Bear and Dixie Bear again." I said as I got comfortable in my seat.

"Yea, I'm excited to get to eat my mom's food again. Its the best. A 100 times better than army food." Dean said, as we buckled the seat belts in, because safety first kids.

"I'm hoping we could all meet up again and have a good time, before we go back into another deployment and hopefully we don't get separated, because I don't want to go my own way." Lucie said.

"I really do miss my sisters. We all looked the same, and everyone believed we were triplets, but they could tell I was older since, I was the tallest." I said as I got out my old iPhone 8 out of my pocket. Scrolling through my camera roll and seeing all the old videos and pictures I had with Charli and Dixie. As a family we would travel a lot, for a big yearly holiday trip. I remember one year we went to Paris. It was amazing. The Eiffel tower was so beautiful and we got the best photos there too.

I am really excited to see them all again, I really missed home and I am really hoping to spend quality time with them before I have to go again. I want to catch up the past two years that I have missed due to being deployed.
