Seokjin was a coward. For all of his life, from his childhood times to his teenage dreams and adulthood mission. He was a coward but when it comes to Taehyung when it comes to the sweet strawberry dancer he wasn't. Better to say, he decided to not be the previous coward he was. So he gathered up his courage and bought a bouquet of flowers and a strawberry cake he knew the boy would love to eat before driving to Taehyung’s house. His heartbeat was beating fast. He was excited but also anxious. A part of him wanted to turn back to his penthouse and drink like he did this whole time, but a part of him wanted to try it once and for the last time. He was trying so hard to bury the huge coward part of him, reflecting his anxiety to his trembling hands. He parked his car before grabbing the stuff he bought and walking to Taehyung’s apartment. He stumbled on the stairs a few times, his heart pumping hard and fast as he finally found his way to the younger boy’s door. He sighed heavily one last time before knocking on the door. Jimin sources told him that Taehyung was home right now, so he knew the door would be open in minutes or maybe… seconds.
The door was wide open revealing Taehyung in his pyjama set, his hair was messy and curly on his forehead. There was a surprise on his face. Wide eyes and mouth open.

“H-hyung…” Taehyung stuttered. Seokjin smiled or he tried to smile just to soothe the tension rising second by a second between them.

“Can we talk?” Seokjin asked, handing the bouquet and cake to the younger boy as he walked in. He didn't wait for any answer. He was afraid Taehyung would reject him. Push him off and ask him to leave his apartment.

“I didn't know you were coming…” Taehyung muttered. He was tense and Seokjin could see it through his eyes, through his fidgeting fingers and rocking leg. It was one way or another…

“I fell in love with you” there was a sharp air between them, heavy breaths and glassy eyes. “I fell in love with you since the first time I saw you, I'm sorry I was a coward… a total asshole, fearing Seojoon and moreover fearing love… I didn't know what to do… I may be a successful businessman but I know nothing about life… that's why I messed up every precious thing I had in my life. Including you and dance… I am sorry” Seokjin said, his voice wavy and unstable. He looked at Taehyung… a few tears dotted on his face. He stepped closer, hesitantly approaching the younger boy.

“Can I…?” he asked. Taehyung nodded. So he did, he hugged Taehyung. He wrapped his hands around Taehyung’s waist and hid his nose in Taehyung’s neck. Taking in the strawberry scent he craved for. Taehyung hugged him back and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. There was no sound… silence surrounding them before Taehyung’s tiny voice whispering… “I love you too” Seokjin made an inch of distance staring at Taehyung’s face and seeking truth in him.

“I fell in love with you at the first sight… just whenever I saw you on the television before you knew someone named Taehyung existed… I loved you and I adored you. I knew you would help us. And you did… you helped us in every way possible. I was falling in love deeper and deeper with you…” Taehyung whispered. Seokjin smiled, so did the boy in his arms.
Taehyung teared his eyes away, his smile disappearing and replacing it with distress. “I’m sorry, I said lots of nasty stuff to you. I didn't mean any of them, I was just jealous of Kisang. I wanted all of you to myself and when I heard Namjoon hyung, jealousy took over… I'm sorry I know you didn't use me… I knew it from the first place. I'm just an asshole.” he mumbled.

“You are not… it's okay, let's forget what happened before, hmm?” Seokjin whispered. He earned a mischievous answer when he felt Taehyung’s lips on his. It was delicious, like a strawberry ice cream in the summer noon. It was a taste Seokjin could get used to, and get addicted to.
