1. Houses

Myōbu
The farmers of ancient Japan revered foxes, which preyed on the mice and rats which destroy crops. Foxes have long been associated with Inari, the god of the harvest. Inari is said to use foxes as servants and messengers, and the majority of the foxes in his employ are the holy, white-furred kind known as myōbu.

Students of this house are kind, loyal, helpful and intuitive, at the same time quite knowledgeable. They are said to be the embodiment of good fortune, always paired with unreasonable luck. Though not always shown to people, they have a playful, prankster side.

Tanuki
Similar to the kistune, tanuki is one of the most well known animal yokai in Japan. Legend has it that they possess powerful magic, superb in shape shifting. They are also said to delight in playing tricks on humans. Moreover, according to the legends, their testicles are magical and can be adapted to any need, such as weapons and disguise.

Most students of this house are natural jokers and tricksters, instantly making friends with their humour. While there are exceptions where some students display a more sarcastic, darker humour. At the same time, they are people smart, able to adapt into any situation or circumstances with incredible ease. Rumours have it that they have a knack for transfiguration.

Kaguya
The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter is a 10th-century Japanese fictional prose narrative containing Japanese folklore. The story surrounds the mysterious Kaguya who was banished to earth from the moon. Her journey on earth starts when was found by a bamboo cutter and his wife in a glowing stalk of bamboo in the form of an infant.

Students of this house have such diverse and complex personalities that it would be hard to summarise them into certain traits. However, they often come off as hard to approach at first, extremely talented, and unafraid to rebel or be different.

Momotaro
Momotaro, "Peach boy", is famous hero in Japanese folklore. He was discovered inside a peach when an old, childless woman brought home the fruit. After he had grown into an adolescent, he left his adoptive parents and set on a brave conquest to defeat a band of demons which threatened their land.

Students of this house are courageous and have a strong sense of justice. They are very generous, and is a friend that can be counted on until the very end. Moreover, they are protective to those close to them.
