I was actually really excited to see Gina. She must be feeling so many mixed emotions at the moment; who could blame her. Luke interlocked our fingers together and I just gave him a slight smile. We were outside his doorstep. “Stop being nervous” Luke laughed. I awkwardly laughed back still trying to hide my nervousness. He brought my hand up to his lips and kissed my knuckles gently, which was kind of soothing.  I looked straight into his brown eyes. My heart fluttered, he was so gorgeous and I am fucking glad he was all mine. “What?” He asked softly. Damn I was probably staring for too long. “Nothing, its just that uh your fucking g-gorgeous” I let out a breath. His kissed my lips slowly and softly. “I feel like you are saying the lines I’m suppose to say.” He chuckled.  I then cupped Luke’s face and smashed my lips onto his. He was surprised by my actions but kissed back. I was surprised by my actions too but I just felt like I had to kiss him. I pulled away realizing we were standing on his doorstep and started laughing to myself. “What was that for?” Luke winked. “What wasn’t it for” I winked back. He smiled and pushed the door open; we both walking into his house. 

“Mum?” Luke called out still holding my hand. “In the kitchen honey” She softly replied back. Her voice was so soft and sweet. I suddenly felt really nervous, I mean I know it’s not a big deal but I was still feeling nervous. She was sitting on the couch sipping on some tea. Her back was facing us. I smiled at how she was out of that place where she shouldn’t have been. She was finally safe. “Where did you go off to darli-” she spoke as she turned around. Her words obviously broke when she saw me standing next to her son. I moved closer to Luke. “Mum this is Sammy, my girlfriend.” Gina then stood up and walked over to both of us she grabbed me and legit hugged the shit out of me. I hugged her back and slightly smiled. I really wasn’t expecting that. “Thank you babe” She whispered in my ear. “For what?” I replied with a confused look scattered on my face. “Just thank you,” She whispered back again. Her actions made me smile like a crazy person. “How are you Gina?” I found myself asking. “Oh honey I’m great, better then I was before” She spoke as we both pulled away from the hug. “See I told you, she love you” Luke nudged my arm causing me to glare at him. “Well you two run along now, don’t want to keep you waiting if you have plans” Gina sweetly smiled. Gosh I love her already. Luke and I nodded walking straight to his room. 

“Luke your mum is so nice, naw I love he-” I was cut off by a pair of warm lips on mine. I smiled into the kiss as he pulled away. “What was that for?” I asked blushing. Damn that boy still never fails to make me blush. “Oh, nothing. You are my girlfriend so I just thought I could kiss you whenever” He pouted. “That’s really cute” I smiled back. “Anyways I know my mum is pretty awesome, I don’t know what happened to me so long ago” Luke spoke as he sat onto his bed while I was still standing near his door. “That was a long time ago like you said Luke, you are different now and I am sure your mum forgives you,” I smiled at him. “Sammy don’t be stupid I wouldn’t even forgive someone if they did that to me” Luke stated. “You would forgive me” I smirked. “Yeah but that’s differen-” “Luke shut up we have already been through this” I groaned. I walked over to him and sat on his lap facing towards him. “What if I never met you, I would still be who I was?” He questioned with a worried look. “Luke” I cupped his face.

“YESSS YESS YESSS” I screamed, very loudly might I add as I scored another goal in fifa. Luke looked very disappointed and unhappy which made me laugh. So basically all Luke and I have been doing is hanging out because that’s what he requested before. I have no idea why but I obviously agreed. “Thank you for just doing silly random things with me today, oh and also thank you for meeting my mum” He smiled. “Its okay Lukey” I smiled back. “But I do have one question for you” I sternly spoke. He took his eyes off the TV and looked straight at me. “What is it?” He asked in wobbly voice. “Luke, I know when something’s up okay and I’m sorry for being an overactive girlfriend, but really. Tell me what is going on” I spoke softly. “We are having a fun couples day” Luke sighed. “I know that but what are you not telling me” I sighed in frustration. “I- I can’t say anything,” Luke whispered. My eyes widened. So he was hiding something from me. “You know you can tell me anything, right?” I questioned looking into his eyes. He motioned me to come towards him so I dropped the controller and sat on Luke’s lap once again, but this time we were on the floor cross-legged. He softly kissed my cheek. “I ‘do not’ want to lose you” He spoke emphasizing the ‘do not’. “You are not going to,” I snuggled into his chest. “Good, and yes I know I can tell you everything because other than you being my girlfriend you are my best friend and life savior” He breathed out. I let out a little ‘awe’. “Fuck” I whispered. “I just realized how much I love you,” I whispered once again. “You are making this really hard,” He whispered to himself, but I heard him just perfectly. “What was that Luke?” I asked him quietly. “Oh nothing I- I didn’t say anything” he stuttered. I got off him and stood up placing my hands on my hips. It was time to get angry.

“OKAY I SERIOUSLY HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS, I LOVE YOU SO FUCKING MUCH LUKE. I NEED YOU TO FUCKING TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON, I WILL FIND OUT SOONER OR LATER AND YOU ARE MAKING THIS A BIG DEAL THAN IT IS. I WISH YOU WOULD JUST TELL M-” my harsh words were cut off by Luke standing up and yelling back.

“I’M LEAVING YOU SAM, OKAY,” He yelled. My heart sank to my stomach. Wait... he didn’t want to be with me? I stood opposite him looking him straight in the eye.

“I’m leaving for 3 years” His voice wobbled. I felt tears brim my eyes. My vision was becoming a blur. I really did not expect those words out of his mouth. Not in a million years.

“Why?” I chocked out. 

“If I don’t go, you die.” I shook my head vigorously. Luke walked a little closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. This is when I decided to brake down, just great. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling. It was too hard. I hugged him tighter not ever wanting to let go. Why was this happening? Why was Jess doing this?

“I didn’t tell you because I knew this would happen, I hate seeing you hurt,” Luke sighed.

“You leaving me for 3 years hurts me even more,” I sobbed. 

“I know baby, I know.” 

“Please don’t go, please,” I begged still bawling my eyes out. I thought I would get angry and slap him across the face but who could get angry at Luke, he is irresistible. 

“You know I want to stay, I want to be with you.”

“Then stay, I can handle myself. I can handle that bitch,” I sniffled.

“I know you can handle yourself, but your cant handle Jess. Not even I can. She has me wrapped around her finger. Don’t you think if I could stay, I would? I would want to run away with you and just generally be with you.” I slightly smiled at his words.

“Just please don’t forget me, please” I pleaded.

“I’m going to come back to you no matter what, so never in a million years will I ever forget you. How could I?”
