Chapter twenty-seven

I don’t know how long I cried into Luke’s arms for, it felt like forever. I pulled him closer to me and nuzzled my face into his chest. I just couldn’t bare to let him go, not even now. “It still hasn’t sank in,” I breathed. Luke’s fingers were gently caressing my arm, as we were both sitting on my soft carpet floor cuddling. “I know, I fucking hate that bitch,” Luke whispered. “But after everything we have been through, this should be a piece of cake” Luke spoke as he cupped my face. “This is going to hurt me so much Luke, you being away and all. I know its going to hurt you so much more so please stay strong for me” I smiled. “Always for you” he smiled. Luke slowly leaned, as did I. our lips crashed together not wanting to separate from each other. Luke bit down on my lips causing me to groan a little. He smiled into the kiss. My hands found away to his hair as Luke positioned me in a more comfortable position on him which was I straddling him. The kiss got more passionate and I just wanted to keep kissing him until I could no longer. His hands travelled down my back and lower until he was caressing my bum. He pulled away from the kiss and started to kiss down my Jaw and neck. “I’m going to miss doing this,” Luke spoke in between his kisses. He finally found my sweet spot as he sucked down for a little while causing me to groan once again. Man he was heavenly. His lips slowly left my neck as he stared in amusement. “Probably the best love bite I have ever given” He smirked. I slapped his arm playfully while reconnecting our lips once more. Just to tease him I slowly moved my hips. Oh I’m getting a little bit feisty aye. “Please don’t tease me, its not very nice” He smirked once again. Luke Brooks will be the death of me. Seriously. He then picked me up not even breaking the kiss and placed me down gently on his bed. His body hovered over me as I tugged on the hem of his shirt. The kiss broke for about one second so Luke could remove his shirt. I pulled him back to me by his neck. I heard him chuckle into the kiss. I’m sorry that I was eager to make out with my boyfriend. It might be our last touchy feely session. Who knows? He quickly removed the top I was wearing which leads me to be in my bra. He kissed down my chest while his hands travelled down to my hipbones caressing the area softly. He did know how to work his magic.

“If this is the last time in awhile, make it count” I spoke seductively. Ah he knew exactly what I meant. He smiled at me.

“Mmm yes ma’am” He winked.

And I’m pretty sure you know what happened next.

I was tracing Luke’s tattoos, something that I regularly do, as we were both lying in bed naked. Wow big surprise there. My head was placed on his chest and it was perfect because I could hear his steady heart beat. “What are you going to tell your family?” I asked as I cuddled closer to Luke. “The truth” He replied. “You going to tell them today?” I asked softly. “I guess so, everyone is going to try and change my mind you know” He sighed. “I know” I slightly shrugged my shoulders. “They are also going to pissed off really badly” Luke sighed again. I thought it was time to get up so I quickly kissed his neck and rolled out of bed taking the blanket with me; wrapping it around my body “Um Sammy?” Luke questioned. “Yeah,” I spoke as I turned around. My eyes widened and I quickly turned back around. I let out the biggest laugh which made my stomach hurt. “I forgot you were in the bed for a split second,” I laughed. “Great now I need to get up and put some clothes on.”

I quickly grabbed my clothes and dropped the blanket as I stepped foot into the bathroom. I got changed and walked back into Luke’s room seeing a fully dressed Luke. “Why couldn’t we just stay in bed forever” Luke asked as he dropped back onto his bed. “Well because you got a lot of news to tell you family” I spoke as I walked up to Luke and tried to drag him off the bed but I failed miserably, It lead to him pulling me on top of him. “Luke come on,” I giggled. “Can you stay with me whilst I speak to them?” he questioned. “I think it’s best if I’m not there, I don’t want to be intruding” I informed Luke. “No, I want you there.” Luke smiled. “Okay.” I whispered.

“Can you repeat that?” Beau hissed at Luke. Luke sighed in frustration as he ran his fingers through his hair. “I already told you everything you need to know” Luke spat back. “You can’t leave” Gina spoke in a wobbly voice. “Mum I have to” Luke sighed. “YOU ARE FUCKING LEAVING FOR 3 YEARS YOU ASSHOLE” Jai shouted out of no where as he walked closer to Luke and punched him straight in the jaw. I gasped and so did Gina and Beau. Luke didn’t flinch he just stood there. He rubbed his jaw and I saw that his hands started to shake. Not this again. I slowly walked over to Luke and held his hands very gently. Jai backed away running off upstairs. “Luke, just stay calm,” I whispered. “Its alright I deserved it,” he whispered. “How can you be okay with this Sammy?” Beau questioned. I turned around to see the look on his face. He was hurt. “I’m out of ways of stopping him” I barely could squeak the words out. “She actually cares unlike you all” Luke hissed back. “Well right now I can’t even talk to you” Beau spat as he walked up the stairs. Luke did not seem fused; I guess that’s what happens when he has his mind to something. Gina walked up to Luke and hugged him. “I’m sorry mum.” Luke cleared his throat. He looked so beat up by this whole situation. I couldn’t stop thinking about how much it was my entire fault. I cringed at my own words, as much as they hurt, it was all very true. Gina sighed taking it all in as she kissed his forehead and gave him a slight smile. I swear she is the peacekeeper. She walked off leaving Luke and I standing. “It’s going to be okay, you know that right?” I questioned. “No, no I don’t.” “Luke.” “JUST STOP IT SAMMY, IM A BAD PERSON. LOOK WHAT IM DOING TO YOU, LOOK WHAT I GOT YOU INTO. I THE FACT THAT IM LIKE THIS.” Luke shouted taking me by shock. His eyes were teary but he was trying not to show it, of course. I stepped closer to him. “Just leave me alone,” Luke hissed. My eyes widened and my mouth was dropped. Where was all this coming from?

“I um sorr- I have to go.” Luke then stormed past me slamming the door. I didn’t realize the tears were falling from my face until I blinked them away.

5 and half hours later

I haven’t slept a wink if you were wondering. My knees were brought up to my chest while I was sitting on the cold hard floor waiting for Luke. He still wasn’t back yet and I was worried. Wait worrying is an understatement. My eyes were bloodshot, I needed some sleep but I just couldn’t. Please don’t tell me he did anything stupi- my thoughts were cut off when I heard the sound of the door being opened. In walked a very tired Luke. He glanced at me and jumped a little. He probably wasn’t expecting me. “5 and half hours Luke, FUCKING 5 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES.” I screamed letting my anger get to me. I stood up and walking over to Luke. I hugged him. I couldn’t let him go. Not again.” I’m so sorry Sammy” He whispered. I dug my face into the crook of his neck. He smelt like smoke and I was familiar with the smoke sent because of Luke. “Luke have you been smoking? And not just cigarette?” I asked slowly. He pulled away and scratched the back of his neck. “I thought you wouldn’t know” He sighed. “Luke remember the time you made me try a cigarette when I first met you. Yeah that came in handy” I laughed slightly. “Oh yeah, shit” Luke laughed back.

“Luke you have less then 6 days with me here, can you add least try and make the most of it with me and your family for that matter” I sighed.

“But if I get too attached I wont be able to go” Luke let out.

“It means you will miss us more which isn’t a bad thing and you know I’m right,” I stated while pulling Luke up to his bedroom. We both got into bed and I snuggled in closer to Luke.

“I love you, Luke”

“I love you too, Sammy”
