Now that you were older, Sherlock would allow you to add a little personality to your room. Emphasis on a little. He let you paint it something other than grey and some fun throw pillows, but other than that your room was simple.

As you were growing up, you grew out of your princess pink phase. When you decided to bring up the subject of redecorating your room, Mary was all for it. John on the other hand, did not want his little girl to grow up. Mary managed to convince him, and then the redecoration process started. Your room was simple, mature, and cozy, still with hints of pink.

Your room was cute and pretty, with lots of decorations and patterns. Molly was so excited when you decided you wanted to redecorate, and got you lots of things to put in it. Molly's favorites were the fluffy rug and the fun lighting.
Mycroft:

Mycroft didn't understand why you'd need to decorate your room. His exact words were, "Why do you need to decorate the place you sleep? It's not you're going to see them." However, you managed to convince him to let you add a bit of personality with a picture and a plant.

Lestrade has no idea what he was doing when it came to room decorating, so he begrudgingly asked for Sally Donovan's help. She told him plants, paintings, and pillows were good to add, so that's what Lestrade got. When the room was finished, Lestrade was very proud of it.
