First Person
I made my way back to the shop and sat there ringing up customers, and reading the daily news while listening to old rock and humming along. At around 9 I heard commotion outside. I saw three boys come in, three boys from earlier. The one with the Buzzcut, the short one with spiky hair, and the guy with the man-bun.
"Yū, you had good receives today!" The buzzcut said
"Thanks Ryū!" The short one said proudly
"Minus the 'Rolling Thunder' part." Scoffs the one with a man bun. I looked over my newspaper and saw the boys grab meat buns and laughed slightly going back to my reading.
A couple minutes later the boys came up ready to be rung up. I put down my newspaper and the short boy gasps
"ITS THE PRETTY GIRL FROM EARLIER!" His jaw drops. I laugh slightly and ring up their 12 meat buns and two popsicles.
"How much will that be?" The guy with a man bun asks as the other two boys fangirl over me
"About 27 bucks," I Rang them up "29.67 including tax." I bagged up their items and set them on the counter while he payed.
"Thank you." He bowed
"Don't bow, I'm just a second year." I wave him off and reach from my newspaper
"WHAT SCHOOL DO YOU GO TO?" The buzzcut asks
"Karasuno." I reply
"HOW HAVE I NEVER SEEN YOU? IM A SECOND YEAR TOO!" The short guy says
"Can you guys stop, I'm Asahi Azumane. Thrid year at karasuno. The one with a buzzcut thats Ryūnosuke Tanaka, the shorty is Yū Nishinoya." He sticks out his hand and I shake it
"y/n Ukai." I smile
"Are you the Coach's daughter?" Tanaka asks
"Yea, I took over his shift after he became your coach." I opened up the newspaper
"Come on guys we should go the rest of the team is waiting. It was nice meeting you and I hope we can see you soon!" Asahi says grabbing their food and walking away with Nishinoya and Tanaka following behind after saying their own goodbyes. I sighed and continued reading my newspaper
'What an interesting group.' I thought to myself as I flipped the page
