ALIVE DEATH

No Longer One

Act 1 Scene 3

( The dark shadowy figure starts to laugh sarcastically as he starts the chainsaw he holds in his right hand. Lois tries to stand up but finds her self rooted to the ground unable to move. Suddenly a loud kick on the front door of the house is heard).

Dark shadowy figure: (walks slowly towards Lois, still hanging upside down on the ceiling amidst the sound of his running chainsaw as the curtains draw back together and everywhere becomes pitch black with only his white teeth visible as he continues to laugh sarcastically, he grumbles) " I'm coming for you Lois, I am coming for you".

(A man in a long grey trench coat with a grey top hat, walks slowly through the front door mumbling some words as he bends down to touch Chris' body which lay on the wooden floor with his face facing upwards and his eyes grey)

Man: (lifts his eyes to follow the stream of blood which is flowing towards Chris' head and continues to mumble, but now getting louder) "He that dwelleth in the sacred place of the most High shall abide under shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress my God in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings shalt trust: his truth shall be thine shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night..."

Dark shadowy figure: (Starts to shake shouting loudly "No no no " and falls into the wooden floor drilling a hole into the floor with his chainsaw and shouts as falls into the deep hole). I'll come back Lois, I'll come back".

Lois: ( starts crawling towards the hole as the darkness begins to disappear and curtains draws appart letting in light. She looks down the hole and sighs seeing the dark shadowy figure fall into a lake of fire. She backs away as the floor begins to close up, falls to the floor and turns to face up lying on her back panting) "uh uh uh uh, oh no, Abena, Chris)

Man: (slowly opens his eyes) " ... amen"
(Looks down at Chris) "son, son how are you feeling)

Father: (staggers backwards to the ground and touches head with his right hand) "agyeiii, aish, ouch ouch, my head. Lois! Lois!"

Lois: ( Opens the bathroom door and sees Abena lying down on the floor with the shower still tuned on and speaks in shock)
"Oh no! he took her"

Man: (Shouts in response to Kofi as he helps Chris up to his feet into the three in one couch next to the wall) "Hello! Hello!"

Father: (In a tired voice) "Who is there! Chris! Chris! Don't come up here there's blood on the stairs." (In a frenzied tone and starts to panic) "There's... blood on... the stairs".

Man: (walks to the stairs and looks up to Kofi who leans against Abena's wall)"I don't think you know this sir, but that is not just blood"
