Olivia's Pov

I stared at him completely shocked. I had no words at all. What did he expect me to say to that? "Oh it's okay no big deal Governor,I get that all the time?" Olivia thought to herself as she tried to fully comprehend what she had just heard. This couldn't be happening was all she could think to herself. She was only there to help him get elected and now he was telling her that he was in love with her! God! She couldn't catch a break! Of course part of her wanted to so badly tell him that she felt the same way but she couldn't do that yet...well ever.
Olivia by all means wasn't stupid. She was way too intelligent to ever get involved with a client, let alone a married man. But her heart was going against her mind. She wanted to be with him even though she knew it was wrong on all accounts. After a few minutes she realized that he was staring at her. She bit her lip and slowly allowed herself to look into his sky blue eyes. The same eyes that she often found herself dreaming about when she went to sleep at night.
"Governor Grant... I don't know what you expect me to say to you. You're married and you have children and you're running for President. You have a career to focus on and I refuse to be the reason why that all ends." She said remaining completely professional as she spoke. As for Fitz, he looked at her as if she was the only person in the entire world and he hung onto every word that left her mouth. How could he not? He was in love with her and he couldn't deny that any longer.
"Olivia... I don't care what you say. I love you and I'll fight for you until my last breath. I will have you one way or another and I don't stop until I get what I want." He said as he walked closer to her,causing her to shake her head no at him. Fitz lightly pressed his body against hers and spoke again. "I'll fight for you Olivia, no matter how long I have to." He said quietly his blue eyes staring into her brown ones. Olivia knew that this wasn't good at all. She knew deep down that she loved him but this couldn't happen. He had a bright political career ahead of him and this...falling for her would ruin it, and that was the last thing she wanted. She took a deep breath and spoke to him. "This will never happen. Being President is what you want and that's what you'll get. Now leave I have work to do." She said sternly as she went back to what she had been doing before he came in. Fitz was heartbroken and it was clear that he was but he did what she said and left. But he knew that he would have her. He had to have her.
