Smitten. Levi was completely smitten, and that was the truth.

His mind had taken to flitting to thoughts of Dr. Smith at all hours of the day and night. But rather than being erotic thoughts, they were simple, everyday speculations: he wondered what Smith's real name was, what job he worked, whether he had any pets at home, even what his favorite color might be. Levi's desire to know these various, simple intimacies was almost overwhelming. He hadn't wanted to grow close to someone like this for so long... that it was almost painful.

Worst of all, it had taken him by surprise; had happened so gradually that he hadn't realized how far he'd fallen until it was too late. Now he was wanting to ditch the club entirely, and go anywhere else with Smith. A restaurant, the park, the gym, it didn't matter. Levi wanted to see him in the true light of an everyday situation, having nothing to do with roleplay. He'd had no idea when he first joined the club, that he'd ever find someone who intrigued him so much. Levi was fairly certain that Smith felt the same, and might even be willing to go on a real date.

Levi wanted to bring it up so badly. He was stressing himself out trying to decide how he might go about it, and whether their meeting tonight was too soon to try. To distract himself from these ever-mounting daily worries, Levi showered as soon as he got home, then went digging in his closet.

He had the gala to attend tomorrow night, and wanted to air out the proper clothes. Levi owned a handful of fine suits, but for this event, he'd be wearing the jewel of them all. The luxurious suit looked pristine right out of the garment bag. Levi picked out an equally appropriate tie and cufflinks, before laying it all out in preparation. With that meagre distraction over, Levi had a full hour to fill before leaving for the club. He played fetch with Valkyrie for a good chunk of that time, giving her all the attention he could cram into the rest of the evening before he left. With her pet door giving her access to run and play in the yard, Levi never worried about leaving her alone.

His jitters increased as he finally entered the club, and headed toward the unfamiliar hallways leading to the new room. When he walked through the unassuming door, he was met with such a completely different atmosphere than he'd come to expect. There were floral patterns painted in calming colors on the walls, a brightly-colored orchid sat on a little table by the door, and there was a filmy curtain with a dark wood frame separating part of the small room off. The sound of trickling water came from a mini rock fountain that sat on a set of wooden shelves across the room, which housed a few more pots of greenery, as well as a host of bottles, towels, and a few items Levi couldn't name. Peeking around the curtain, he spotted a chair, and a small but comfortable-looking padded bed.

It was hard not to recognize what this place was, even without once going to a real one. It was a small massage parlor. Levi's body relaxed thinking of what would undoubtedly happen here. Smith's words all fell into place; 'the focus will be on relaxation and calming'. His spine tingled at how perfect this was. It was professional, but intimate; exactly what he'd always hoped for but never had the chance to experience. He'd never been comfortable with the idea of paying a complete stranger for such a service, because he struggled to separate sex and massage in his mind. They were both so intimate that Levi couldn't imagine having warm, bare hands rubbing the stress and pain of the day out of him, without thinking of it leading somewhere more. He wouldn't have to compromise here.

Remembering what Smith had told him, Levi stripped down to just his undershirt and boxers, and then sat on the bed. It was more like a table with a thick white cushion, but it was comfortable. The waiting game was easier this time because of the calm environment. The soft sound of the water, the faint woodsy scent, and the beautiful patterns on the walls...Levi felt his stress lowering the longer he sat there. Unconsciously, his eyes began to droop.
