Ang -지만 ay ginagamit kapag yung impormasyon sa pangalawang clause ng sentence ay SALUNGAT / KABALIGTARAN doon sa unang clause ng sentence.
No space in between:

Pag idudugtong si -지만 sa mga Adjectives or Verbs, dapat STEM ang tignan. HINDI kailangang i-conjugate ang mga A/V.
