5. Wings

Hawks have been watching Kyoko for a few days now, he thought it wasn't creepy. Mirko thought it was very creepy, she knew he liked her he just didn't know how to talk to her at all she has never seen Hawks like this before with any girl he was interested in. She found it very weird.

As Mirko and Hawks were doing their patrol as he was looking into space, Mirko felt like he was thinking about Kyoko.

"Hawks, are you ok?" Mirko asked then

Hawks snapped out of it and looked at Mirko, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking,"

"Are you sure, you've been so weird lately."

"I'm sure." Hawks said

Mirko knew he was lying to her, she had to know! "Is this about Kyoko?"

Hawks turned to Mirko with a questionable expression, "What about her?"

"You are becoming obsessed with her,"

"No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are!" Mirko said, "I've seen you stare at her all the time!"

"Nope, that's just your imagination." Hawks told her

"I know you Hawks! You have been staring at Kyoko and asking about her from other heroes. What is it with you? You're being a creep."

Hawks sighed, she had a point, "Look, I don't want to seem creepy but I just want to know about her more without directly talking to her."

"Why? You know she is a nice person? Why can't you just talk to her?" Mirko asked, "Are you...shy?"

Hawks blushed but hid it with his jacket, "I'm not shy or anything."

"Then talk to her, she isn't going to kill you or anything."

"Have you seen her dad?"

"Her dad?"

"Her dad is Night Owl," Hawks told her

Mirko's jaw dropped, "What!? Are you serious! She must be so lucky to have a dad like that, a Pro-Hero!" She exclaimed, "Wait, is that why won't talk to her? Are you afraid of her dad?"

"No! Her dad isn't that scary anyway."

"Then talk to her, you will love her. She is awesome."

Hawks sighed but before he could say anything there was a huge explosion a few blocks away. Dark smoke penetrated the blue sky as another explosion erupted, Hawks spread his wings and flew through the air to the explosion. Mirko ran over there as fast as she could. Hawks made sure there was no other dangers ahead of him or people in trouble. He got to the top of the building and looked at what was going on, he couldn't be his eyes. It was a Nomu, those weird creatures that the League of Villains have been releasing around the country. They were very strong and strange, also they regenerate so killing them wasn't easy. A Nomu was attacking the district, destroying buildings and terrorizing citizens. Luckily, two Pros were already at the scene taking care of the Nomu, it was Shiro and Kyoko! The part of the district was their route so of course they would be on the scene first before. Shiro was helping citizens evacuate the area and take care of them if they are injured and Kyoko was actually fighting the monster.

Shiro Kikumura, AKA Poltergeist, had a quirk called "Ghost" He could turn invisible and go through any material or object. He can also hijack any electrical device as he pleases and travel long distances through them. He is very skilled in combat but he always helped citizens who are injured or need to get to safety, He used his quirk to look for any bystanders in disaster.
