6. Visitor

Its been four days since Kyoko had killed the Nomu and admitted to the hospital. Shiro was admitted to the hospital as well for his side injury but he was back on the streets withing a few hours. Kyoko's parents had visit her in the hospital, they were both crying and very worried about her. Kyoko felt bad for making her parents cry, they had been through so much for the past couple of years of her life and they didn't need this again. Her father had been fearing something like this when Kyoko decided to be a hero like him. He didn't want to make her change her career choice but he also wanted her to be safe. Kyoko apologized to both of her parents for not being careful enough. They forgave her, of course, and didn't leave her side until she was fully restored to her normal state.

Hawks couldn't concentrate on his work, he was so worried about Kyoko. Yes, he didn't know her well but he couldn't help it. When Shiro came back into work, Hawks immediately asked him about his and Kyoko's state. Shiro told him that he was fine but he wasn't sure about Kyoko. When he was admitted to the hospital, Kyoko was still unconscious but stable. He hadn't visit her much because she was in good hands with her parents. Shiro also thanked him for saving Kyoko from falling, Hawks nodded at him and walked away. 

A week passed and Kyoko still hadn't come back to the agency, every one there was generally worried, especially Hawks. He wanted to see if she was alright so he decided to visit her at the hospital. Thankfully, it was day off so he wouldn't be noticed much by the media. Dressed in his normal clothes, Hawks went to the local hospital to look for Kyoko. He asked a nurse about Kyoko, the nurse had recognize him and gladly told him her room number. Before Hawks got to her room, he went to the hospitals gift shop and bought a small bouquet of red roses. Shiro had told Hawks that red roses were Kyoko's favorite a few days before. Hawks went to the room but found it empty. He asked a nearby nurse about the patient in the hospital room, she told him that the patient had check out of the hospital a few minutes ago. Hawks frantically looked all over the hospital fro Kyoko, hoping to find her walking around somewhere. After a few minutes of looking, he gave up. He couldn't find her anywhere at all. He left the hospital disappointed and began to walk over to the nearby park. 

He walked inside the park and he immediately noticed a young women with black hair with light purple tips sitting under a big shady tree. He knew it was Kyoko, he took a few deep breathes and walked up to her. Kyoko's back was turned to him so she didn't notice him coming her way. Hawks stood behind her, the roses were still in his hands and he began to speak despite being a bit nervous.

"Hey," 

Kyoko turned her head to look up at him, she stood up and smiled, "Hi, do I know you?"

Hawks didn't know what to say, "Uh,"

"Wait," Kyoko looked at him more closely, "Big red wings...blonde hair...You're Hawks!"

He smiled, "Yep, that's me."

"Ghosty has told me so much about you while I was in America," she told him happily

"He has?"

"Yep, he said me and you would be good friends." Kyoko saw the roses in Hawks' hand, "Are those for me?"

Hawks held them out to her, "Yeah,"

She took the roses and smelled them, "These are so nice, thank you!"

"No problem, kid." Hawks blushed a bit

The two stood there in silence, it was a bit awkward. Neither of them didn't know what to say to each other, this was the first time that they had a real conversation with each other. Usually, Kyoko wouldn't be like this but she was a bit nervous that Hawks was talking to her. He was very popular and attractive.
