A broken heart heals when we allow the healing to go as deep as the wound went.

After half an hour Ahtisham got the file from his private investigator that contains all information regarding Sila, where she lived, about her family, her education, her friends, and also about the accident and death of her family members. He knew that she was telling truth by the sincerity and pain in her eyes but he has to confirm it for the safety of his children especially after what he has in mind for her.
He looked at the clock, that shows how much time he spent reading the file and thinking about what to do next, he sighed and got up to check upon Mirha and Sila. He fixed his coat lapels and picked up the file, taking confident strides toward his office. He has many things running in his mind and he hopes that the next talk with a certain woman will put his mind to some peace.

He knocked at the door just to alert her about his presence, he didn't want to see her in any discomfort. He opened the door and saw something which left him breathless and in some kind of trance. On the couch where he left them sat Sila with a sleeping Mirha in her lap caressing her cheeks and forehead admiring her innocent features with such adoration in her eyes that he was dumbstruck at his place. He was still looking at the woman who was lost in his daughter; Sila felt someone's intense gaze at her and looked toward the door to see Ahtisham standing there.

She got nervous and stood up to place Mirha in her banister, she didn't want him to think of her as a creep who was gazing at the sleeping angel. Her movement broke his trance and he averts his eyes from the fascinating scene to go toward his chair. He pointed toward the chair across his desk for Sila to take a seat. She hesitated but goes to sit, playing with her dupatta to ignore his intense hawk-like gaze. He took a breath before speaking and his next word took her breath away.

"I have a background check on you, Miss Hashim. I hope you don't mind it but it's for the safety of my baby girl," he spoke in a stern professional voice. She merely nodded her head for him to know that she understands.

"I have a proposition for you... I know that you came for the financial job interview but the way you handle Mirha and how she gets comfortable with you... I have seen her peaceful and happy for the first time. And you have also breastfed her which was another shock for me," He again said but with a slight smile at the corner of his lips. Sila was confused with his blabbering, she came for the job interview not to listen to how well she handle his daughter in her cranky mood.

"What are you saying sir? I am sorry... But I can't understand it" she said confusedly. He sighed and this time straight come to the point.

"I want to hire you as Mirha caretaker or nanny whatever you want to be... I just want my daughter to relax and happy. I did not even saw her smile or laugh so much as she did today. So Miss Hashim do you accept the job of my daughter caretaker?" He asked sternly but with a soft tone.

Sila was shocked for some time she was processing his every word. She was wide-eyed mouth agape at him who was looking at her with a hopeful expression.

"Mr. Shah I didn't know if I m capable of handling a baby as precious as Mirha. I didn't have any experience and I didn't even get a chance to love my baby," She said brokenly.

This was something big for her, the insecurities and the miseries getting to her and weighing her down. He shook his head and spoke with a stern voice.

"Like seriously woman... You calm down a three months old crank infant and feed her like a Pro and you say that you are not capable of handling her. She was always clinging to me like a koala bear and always make a fuss about feeding her but you just deal with the situation like an expert I think not even her mother will..." He cut himself off before he said something that will make this more awkward than it's already is. He saw Sila saddened face almost close to crying. He sighed pinching his nose bridge and this time talking in a soft tone.
