"ISAMU, stop locking yourself up in your room and go to school!" I pack up my little brother's bento box into his school bag which also consists of his many equipment to fight. "I'm a prodigy. I don't need school!" he shouts back from inside his room. "Jokes on you, as long as you haven't reach 19 years old, I'm sending you to school whether you like it or not!" I grab his bag and stomp my way up the stairs to his room. "ISAMU!" I knock on his door twice. "Get out of that room or so help me, I'll ground you for a week!" I voice out. "NO! THAT'LL DISRUPT MY STREAK OF HERO WORK!" Isamu replies frantically. I can hear things falling in his room as if there's a mini earthquake in there.

Followed by a moment of silence.

"So, are you going?" I ask calmly.

The door opens with my 10-year-old S-class hero little brother pouting. In my eyes, he pouts, but in reality, he's just annoyed with my big sister act. He grabs his bag from my hand and stomps down the stairs. "Your bento is inside your bag and I also packed some extra lollipops if there's an emergency meeting at the Headquarters," I accompany him to the door until we both stand in front of it in silence. He still refuse to look into my eyes. I open the door and sigh. "Listen, just because you're a rank 5 S-Class Hero, is stronger and smarter than me, doesn't mean I can't care for you like any sister would," I pat his head lightly.

With no replies, he suddenly hugs my legs tightly and run out through the door. "They grow up so fast," my heart clenches tightly watching his tiny figure runs to school.

My phone jingles, notifying me a message from a friend that I 'cherish' the most.

'I've finished my morning patrol, wanna go get breakfast?- Satoru.'

I glance at my freshly cooked eggs and beef strips.

'Wanna have a picnic instead?' I ask.

'Sure thing. -Satoru,'

.

I wait underneath my parasol umbrella under the shady tree growing under the bright afternoon sun. "(Y/n)!" Satoru-- or more well-known as Mumen Rider, shouts my name from a distance with two men trailing behind him. He's in his hero uniform and everyone is watching them in awe.

.

"Master, look. There's beef strips," Genos takes a few strips of beef and puts them on Saitama's plate. "Oi, Genos. You'll make me seem like I'm not fed well," Saitama looks annoyed but he accepts the strips with ease.

"So, anything happened lately?" I ask Mumen. "Recently, there's someone who has been beating up heroes and even though all the heroes he's beaten up are all lower class heroes, I reckon we should be still wary of our surroundings," Genos answers instead. "Yes, though it won't be much of a hassle for you S-class heroes," Mumen Rider compliments as he takes a bite from the sandwich I made. "Are you two heroes too?" I ask. At that moment, I can sense someone lurking in the shadows from somewhere not far from us.

Genos seems to be sensing the same thing as his eyes seems to be scanning the area.

"Yep. We're both heroes---," "But I'm Master's disciple so don't let our rankings fool you," Genos interrupts Saitama. "Oi, Genos, you shouldn't interrupt someone speaking," Saitama, again, seems annoyed by this but he still lets Genos do things as he pleases. "So you're a cyborg?" I ask Genos. "Yes. I was human but things happened and now I'm mostly a robot. I won't ever go haywire so you can be at ease," he says formally. Satoru just laughs from the side while eating the food I cooked. "Even so, do be careful. I have a bad feeling about this man," I convey my worries. "It's okay. When that man comes to us, we'll make sure to capture him! Don't worry, with Child Emperor by your side, no one will want to attack you," Satoru says. "If a hero is who he's after, wouldn't that make me in more danger because I live with one?" I say teasingly. "This man only attacks them in public so I don't think he knows the heroes private homes. Unless if he stalks them...," Genos's statement makes me more worried for my brother. Satoru notices my worries and quickly reassures me "If you want, I can stay with you and Child Emperor until this hero hunter is caught,". I decline his offer. "It's okay... the more heroes there is in one place, the higher chances that the hero hunter will come. We don't even know his full potential," I say. "Well, whatever he is, I'm sure Master Saitama can easily defeat him," Genos proudly compliments the bald dude.

To be honest, his simple look and bright yellow suit makes him look so ... weak. He looks like any other low class heroes. No. He looks like a cosplayer out-of-place. Even cosplayers look better than him. Maybe it's because of his shiny bald head...

"Tonight I'm gonna patrol a little longer," Satoru snaps me from my thoughts. "Eh?! Why?! It's dangerous for heroes now! Hero Hunter is out there!" I digress. "That's the point. If the Hero Hunter is not caught, then the lives of Heroes are at stake. How can I call myself a hero if I can't even protect fellow heroes?" he says with a very reassuring smile. He glances at Saitama proudly and Saitama smiles back at him. "If you come across the Hero Hunter, don't fight him. Just run away," I strictly remind him. "Don't worry. I will," he says.

But with my 10 years of experience being friends with him, I know he's lying.

.

"Sis? What are you doing here? Don't you have work to do?" Isamu asks as he walks faster towards me from the school building. "I took a day off today...," I try to avoid making eye contact with that kid because his brain works like no human being. "... and the school council gave me permission to let you be home-schooled until I decide when you'll start going to school like a normal kid," I inform him while holding out my hand to him. He gladly takes it without any suspicion and we both walk together hand-in-hand home.

"Does this mean you're going to be my sister and my teacher?" he asks. "Me? Your teacher? Pfft! No. You'd end up lecturing me instead," I laugh. "True. You can be pretty dunce sometimes," he says while licking his lollipop. "But maybe you'd need a little discipline instead...," I teasingly say. "Oh hell no!" he screams and tries to run away but I grip his hand tighter. "HOW DARE YOU USE THAT LANGUAGE AGAINST ME!! This must be what those heroes taught you... WHAT DID THE HEROES TEACH YOU!?" my sister senses is raging like a wildfire. Isamu tries to escape me but without his equipment, he's nothing but a helpless child under the grasp of his terrifying older sister.

The trip home is safe but I do sense a lingering scent of blood-lust coming from somewhere not far from us. I'm fine if it's targeting me but if it were to attack Dotei, I would have no idea what I would do...

Isamu = Child Emperor. If you're a previous reader, you must've noticed that I used to use the name 'Dotei'.
