1-13 : He's Gone

Both Silverfang and Garou has the same form in fighting but, of course, Silver Fang's form is flawless. Both Genos and I can tell the victor already but even so, he's going to die. I specifically asked Silver Fang to not kill him but it seems like my request is trivial at this point.

I can feel his pain. It hurts so much. The painkillers Isamu gives me holds nothing to Silverfang's beatings. I can see that Garou is trying his best to avoid getting direct hits but the brothers are too fast for him to dodge.

"Don't worry, he won't kill him," Genos says. "Silver Fang has his reasons," he adds.

Garou seems to be trying to hold up to Silver Fangs beatings but when our eyes incidentally locked with each other, he finally accepts the idea to run away so, he tries to run away. Unfortunately, Bomb is there to make sure he fail.

Now, both Silver Fang and Bomb are beating up Garou. It hurts. I want to scream in pain but I mustn't. Genos is going to suspect something.

He's going to die at this rate!!

"STOP YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HIM!" I scream but they refuse to listen.

"It's over, Garou," Silver Fang and Bomb stand side by side, preparing to end him. 

But Garou slams the ground the everything shakes. "LIKE HELL IT WOULD!" 

In an instant, a giant bird suddenly appears. Every flap of its' wings sends all of us flying away but Genos catches me before I hit any trees.

"Thank you Genos," I sigh in relief, the painful beatings have finally stopped and the bird's claws feels like an ant's bite at this point. "You're welcome," Genos replies politely.

"GAROU!!!" I shout but Garou has been taking away by it.

Genos takes another step by desiring to fire down both the bird and Garou with his incineration canon but before he could fire, the same giant centipede appears from underground.

"It's dangerous here Mortal Angel!" Genos pulls me back but I resist. "NO! GAROU---," "The safety of the injured comes first!" Silver Fang interrupts while he and Bomb have their hands full carrying all the unconscious heroes. "But...," 

"He'll be fine," Silver Fang insist.

And as much as I'd like to believe what he says, the locket I bear grow feels colder as if Garou himself is slipping away from humans' touch.
