Chapter 2

3rd Person POV

John-Paul and Ste woke to unfamiliar arms around them, only to wake up and realise it was each other.

"Good morning" John-Paul says with a wide grin as he snuggles into Ste's chest.

"Good morning indeed" Ste replies in his deep morning voice. The two men only separated to get their phones to check what was happening with their Fiancés.

To Ste

I am sorry about storming off last night. Can we talk in the bean later. Maybe around 1ish? Plus Amy wants to talk to you about the kids as she is scared you went on a bender. Please be here to put her mind at rest. Plus Leah thrashed me at fifa.

Ste turned his phone onto silent and turned back over to John-Paul who was still looking at his phone.

To John-Paul

Hey. Sorry about last night but I will make it up to you, I can't come home today as it is a very late finish so make sure Matthew doesn't make my house a mess. I will see you tomorrow with Flowers and chocolate

John-Paul turned his phone off and rolled over to Ste who was staring at him with a smile.

"Like what you see?" John-Paul teases as he pushes some of Ste's hair out of his face.

"Have done since I first met you all those years ago." Ste admits.

"What 2013? When Brendan left and I ditched your dad for you" John-Paul says chuckling at the memory.

"No 2006 when you first moved here. I was with Amy and you were with Hannah. You know, when we were both straight" Ste says laughing a bit as well.

"Has it really been nearly 11 years since I moved here? Wow. Time flies. Have you really liked me that long?" John-Paul asked moving a bit closer to Ste.

"Yeah. I knew I liked guys when I saw you happy with Spike. I was questioning it for a while. I knew that since then, I wanted you." Ste says settling his hand on John-Paul's waist. John-Paul moved closer so that they were cuddling again.

"I liked you for ages but I never got my chance. First there was Brendan and Noah, then Doug. I finally gave in to my feelings when I found out you were single and looking again. I never meant anything to your dad." John-Paul says resting his forehead on Ste's.

"You meant everything to me," Ste said looking into John-Paul's eyes, "You mean everything to me."

"You mean everything to me too." John-Paul says looking back into Ste's eyes. They share a passionate kiss. It wasn't heated but full of love and contentment.

"What are you doing today? Harry wants me to meet him and Amy at the bean at 1." Ste says hoping he won't have to leave soon.

"Nothing. James isn't back until tomorrow. Although I might give him a ring and make sure that that is what he meant. Sally has Matthew but I think she might need a hand." John-Paul says snuggling closer to Ste who holds him tighter.

"Why can't we stay like this forever." Ste says thinking out loud. Ste loved being the more protective one. Harry liked to protect him and it got annoying sometimes.

"Because our fiancés would have something to say about that." John-Paul says loving the embrace. He liked being held by strong arms. He and Ste made a perfect couple in his eyes and in Ste's.

"I guess I better head home to get ready to meet Amy and Harry." Ste says seeing that it was 11am.

"How about later, we meet up at the park with the kids and they can have a play together." John-Paul suggests wanting to see Ste again.

"Leah loves Matthew, has done since they met in 2014. Matthew was nearly 2 and Leah was 7. My kids love Matthew. They miss him and you." Ste says sitting up looking at his clothes which were crumpled on the floor.

"I miss them too. You can leave out the back. No one will see you if you go that way" John-Paul says knowing that they shouldn't been seen together.

"Ok. I'll see you later. 3pm at the park?" Ste says as he gets his jacket on.

"Yeah see you later." John-Paul says getting up and walking over to Ste. He plants a loving kiss on Ste's lips before he goes.

"You know I'll never stop loving you." Ste says putting his arms around John-Pauls waist.

"I'll never stop loving you either" John-Paul says wrapping his arms around Ste's neck. They hug and before either of them are ready, Ste is out the door and on his way home.

1pm at the bean

Ste's POV

I arrive at the bean to see Harry and Amy sat on one of sofas. I walk over to them as confidently as I can. I was now dressed in different clothes to yesterday and different cologne.

"Hey. How are you both" I say taking a seat opposite them. Amy has tears down her face and Harry's arm is around her.

"Ste this isn't easy for me to say and it won't be easy for you either." Amy starts and I am officially worried.

"Look Ams. I haven't been on a bender and I am ok. However, if the news is that you and Harry are seeing each other, maybe pick a different time." I say now become scared when she doesn't reply. I look at Harry for any indication. He looks really upset as well.

"Tell him Amy." Harry says softly to her. Is he cheating on me?

"Ste, I am going for full custody of the kids." Amy says and my heart sinks. I am not surprised but shocked that she would do it now.

"When is the custody meeting?" I ask to see how long I have to prepare a case.

"Tomorrow at 3pm" Harry says as Amy is now in floods of tears.

"Can I at least have them today?" I ask and Amy just nods.

"They are with Ryan, I'll text him and ask him to bring them down." Amy says picking up her phone.

I go and get he a water and 2 coffees. About 10 minutes later Leah, Lucas and Ryan walk through the door. He sits next to Amy and Leah and Lucas sit next to me.

"Come on, shall we go to the park." I say to the kids.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Harry asks.

"No can I just spend some time with my kids on my own." I say getting up and taking their little hands. I walk to the park where I had planned to meet John-Paul. He was sat with Matthew eating chips. Leah and Lucas see them and run over to them. Seeing them like this makes me think...

Amy is not taking my kids without a fight!
