the weekend

we had the test next monday so naruto and i agreed we would spend the weekend together. since it was friday we decided to go get ramen before starting the day. "hey pops!" naruto said the the man behind the counter. "hey naruto! hey y/n! how's it going?" pops said. "we have the test in monday so we decided to hang out the whole weekend!" i said with a closed eye smile. "ohh! that's cool soo... are you guys a thing yet or..?" me and naruto both got flustered. "no no no we are only friends!" naruto said while flailing his arms around. i nodded my head until my neck hurt. "oh sorry i just thought you guys were dating! you would be cute though!" pops said sorry but we both could tell he didn't mean it. the lady behind the counter spoke up. "i swear y'all were dating i guess not i assume just best friends?" "yeah we've been best friends ever since we were little!" i commented.

after we ate ramen we went back to my house. i still was thinking about what pops and the lady said. now i'm very confused naruto is only my best friend rig- naruto interrupted my thoughts. "what are we going to do at your house?" "i don't know do you just wanna watch movies and make popcorn?" i asked. he nodded his head. as we walked in i saw gaara on the couch. i forgot he was here whoops. "hey gaara!" "oh um hi y/n!" he replied. woah is he smiling?! that's a first! i haven't seen him smile since he hugged me in my room. "hi! in naruto!" naruto introduced himself. gaaras small smile went away. "gaara." he said. "well gaara do you wanna watch some movies with us?" i asked hoping he would say yes for some reason. he looked down at me and narutos hands. "huh?" i said looking seeing we were holding hands because i dragged him to my house. uh oh i hope he doesn't think we're dating! i pulled my hand from naruto. he looked shocked and then shrugged his shoulders. "soooo?" naruto said. gaara looked at him and said fine but he would only watch for one movie because he had his siblings coming over later. i got to pick the movie hehe. i sat in between gaara and naruto so it wasn't awkward.

i picked a horror movie because i loved them. while watching i lost track of what happened. i focused again and just as i did a scary lady popped up on the screen. i shrieked and grabbed gaaras arm without knowing. he looked at me confused and i apologized. he was blushing like crazy and so was i. naruto whispered to me " do you have a crush on him?" he said it very quiet knowing if he said it to loud i would bonk him in the head. i shrugged my shoulders and he winked at me. great now he thinks i like gaara! i mean do i? eh i don't think so. i kinda like naruto. WAIT! WHAT? no no no! i don't like anybody! or at least i hope...
