when we got to look at our scroll we saw we had a earth one. "3,2,1 GO!" the woman yelled as me sakura naruto and sasuke leaped through the trees looking for a small spot to hang for awhile. the feeling is back. "someones watching" i whispered to sasuke who nodded in return. we all were on high alert when we heard the one and only "what a drag" "shikamaru?" i whispered peaking out behind a bush seeing shikamaru ino and choji sitting there while choji had a snack break. i giggled and suggested we went to another area.

it had been a whole day now. a whole day since we entered. this is a pain! wait- IS THAT A SNAKE? me and naruto were now separated away from the others and neither of us remembered the damn password we made last night! "this is going to be a big fuss when we get back!" i whispered to naruto after we had got up from being flung away from sakura and sasuke.

"hey naruto!" i said catching up to him. why is he running away? "oh! sorry.." he said sweatdropping. "it's okay!" i giggled and we started to head back. we found some creepy dude with sasuke and sakura. they were shaking? HAH DUCKFACE IS SHAKING! wait. if sasuke is shaking then weirdo man here must be trouble.

basically we just ran away bc we are cowards 😝 kidding! we aren't cowards and we managed to get weirdos scroll! we made it to the place where we supposedly get to the next part of the exams and found gaaras team there. they must be fast! we were out there for 3 days and they look like they're bored of being here! smh i knew gaara was good and all but i am not losing to him that easily. "y/n?" naruto asked shaking me rapidly. "AHH NARU!" i yelped scooting away. "ARE YOU OKAY YOUVE BEEN STANDING THERE LOOKING AT A WALL FOR TEN MINUTES!?" sakura pointed out the wall. "oh- uh.. i um i don't know haha i just got lost in thought i guess." i said with nervous laughter. naru looked at me and smirked. "ohh y/nnn were you thinking about g-" before he finished his sentence i pounded him in the head. "shut up!" i yelled back at him.

gaaras team entered the dining hall and so did shikamarus. i rushed over to shikamaru because i was still mad at gaara for ghosting me and then getting jealous of naru and lee! "HEYYYY" i yelled as i went over to say hi. "oh you guys made it too?" ino asked. i nodded as sasuke sakura and naruto caught up to me. as we were talking with our friends and ino and sakura bickering over sasuke once again i caught gaara glancing at me. i finally had enough of it. i turned around and waved when he was looking. he blushed and turned his head quickly. "uh y/n whys he so awkward around you?" shika whispered to me when i turned back around. me and shikamaru had been close friends before but he forgot about me for awhile before naruto came around. "i honestly don't know he ghosted me and now is acting all weird around me! he hasn't even came back to uncle kashis house and it's weird. he's supposed to be with us for like two months after the exams and it sure is gonna be awkward as hell if he acts like this when he sees me." i replied quiet so only he could hear.

me and shikamaru finished our talk about gaara and started playing games. "CHEATER!" i yelled loud enough the whole room looked at me. "WELL ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU WERE DUMB ENOUGH TO PUT YOUR KING IN SUCH AN OBVIOUS PLACE!" he replied making a tick apear on my forehead. "wait.. THAT WAS MY KING?" i said sweatdropping. "DUMBASS!" shika replied laughing a little. naruto came over as we all started laughing.
