I'm just so uncomfortable. This party is too loud. My head is kind of woozy. The loud music and thee crowd of people just isn't doing well for me.
I think Ruel felt bad that I looked tired. I feel bad that I had to ruin this moment. He grabs my hand and takes me away. Then I just hear a really loud shout. "Who's calling her a Chink?!" I don't know who that is and who they're talking to but I just keep walking. As I keep walking, Ruel stops and my hand that's still connected to him stops me as well. "Hey are you okay? Dane's a great asshole. He talks B.S.", a girl comes up to me and says. I look up. "Oh sorry, my name is Sai. You must be overwhelmed." "Huh? Oh hi." I try not to be rude but I'm just so out of it. "Here Ruel, I can deal with this punk." Ruel just nods at Sai. I still don't know who she is and I don't know what's going on. Who is Dane? Did her do something wrong? Is he a bad guy? "Let's go", Ruel wraps his arm around my shoulders. "What's going on?" I look up at Ruel. "What do you mean Hina?! That dude called you a Chink and asked you if you could see out of your eyes!" I didn't even know that. How could I be so oblivious. I was just in my own mind at that time. "What?!" "Yeah", he responds. "Sorry, you were probably having a good time", I say. Ruel frowns, "Hina, are you okay?" "Sorry, I'm just out of it right now. I just got a bit overwhelmed I guess." "Alright."
I hear footsteps behind us. Ruel quickly turns his head with fear. When he sees Sai, he seems relaxed. "Hi! I hope he's learnt his lesson." "Thanks Sai", Ruel says. "uh..Thank you", I say. "No need to thank me. What's your name?" I look up. "Hina." "That's a cute name!" "I'm just Coco's friends little sister. How old are you?" "17." "Ah cool! I'm 17 too!" That's so surprising. She seems older. Sai gives me a cool- person vibe. She puts her hand out and I shake it. "Oh hey Ruel! Long time no see. I don't know much about you except for the fact that you are the same age and Coco's minion", we all laugh. "Come on, minion?", Ruel playfully pouts.
"So which school do you guys go to?", Sai asks. "Redlands", Ruel answers for the both of us. "Oh cool. I go to Mosman. Hina, where are you from? You've got an accent", Sai asks. "I'm from Canada. I moved here about a month ago." "Oh that's so cool! Canada seems really fun." "Yeah it's fun but Australia is way more fun. I like the scenery and beaches here." "Yeah same."
We talk for another half an hour or so. "Hey, what's your Instagram or Snapchat", Sai asks. "Uhh it's hina_naa." "Thanks! We can chat. What's yours?", she turns to Ruel. "Here", he gives her his Snapchat. She's a really cool person. I admire her. Shes bold. Sai then leaves and disappears into the crowd of people.
Ruel and I begin to feel really sleepy. I'm kind of scared to sleep though. I don't want anything to happen to us while we sleep. But at the same time, i don't know how much longer Coco will be staying. "Do you want to just take an Uber our selves?" "Uhh sure", I say. "I'll call Coco and tell her." Ruel whips out his phone.
PHONE
Ruel: Hina and I are leaving now. I'll call the Uber.
Coco: Why? It's so soon.
Ruel: Coco are you kidding me?! We are tired as hell and that dude just turned down the whole mood! I can't believe you!
Coco: Ruel! Why can't you just calm down and look at the other persons perspective?!
Ruel: Bye now. Hina and I are leaving.

Gosh how could Coco be that oblivious. She should've stood up for her friend.
"Let's go okay?" I wrap my jacket around her shoulders. It's cold during night.
"Oh thanks", Hina says. "No problem." We walk inside then right out the house.
I called the Uber and Hina and I are in the car.

The Uber stops at my house. I help Hina out the car. "Uh...you can stay at my place?" I'm not sure if she'll be comfortable since I'm a guy and she's a girl. I don't want her to think that I want to do "something". "It's ok. It's late. You should get a goodnight sleep", she responds. "No I really don't care. I can get a goodnight sleep anyway. It's late. You can totally sleep at mine if you want." I try not to act pushy. She doesn't respond.
HINA
When Ruel asked me that, I felt a bit like a burden. I don't want to disrupt anyone. And I have to take a shower and get PJs.
"No I really don't care. I can get a goodnight sleep anyway. It's late. You can totally sleep at mine if you want", Ruel says. I don't know what to say so I just quietly ignore it.
"Here, you can come in", Ruel invites me. I step in and Kate greets me.
Writer: Hi! I just finished my first week of school =] Hope you guys had a great week! Mine was fun but exhausting.
I really enjoy writing and uploading on all of my three Wattpad stories (Bliss, Neighbourhood, I Don't Fit In) but this one is my favourite to write. I hope you guys like this story. There's still so much more to come.
