 Chapter 6- Bye New York, Hello Cali!

I looked at the place around me. I'm in a beautiful garden full of flowers and plants. I could hear chirping birds and there's a small pond full of koi fish. The sun is shining very brightly but I couldn't see any one enjoying this beautiful place. I sat on the stoned bench and when I bowed my head, I saw the purple stone Gelo gave me. I was about to reach for it but someone's hand landed on it first.

"Hi Ria welcome to Cali!" A soft voice said. I raised my head and saw a cute kid wearing suspenders smiling at me. I stared at the Kid, analyzed him from head to toe. He looked like Gelo when we're still in Kindergarten. But this can't be. Gelo And I have the same age so I think he's not him. I glared at him once and all I can remember was Gelo's face.

"Hi what's you name? How did you know my name." I said with a confused look on my face.

The kid just looked at me... Smiled and ran away...

I stood up from my seat and ran after him. I followed him in every way he will go.

"Hey! Wait! I'm a friend. Don't be scared!" I shouted repeatedly. But the kid never looked back at me. He just ran and ran and ran. Suddenly I realized that we're already away from the garden. The kid entered a small gate. I don't have other choice but to enter on it also.

I saw a small building, with green gates and school signs. The building was very huge and you can see it from a far. I walked closer and saw a sign "Pennington High".

" Hey this will be my new school." I said to myself.

I went inside and everywhere I will go looks familiar. How could this be? It's the first time I entered this school.

The bell rang and suddenly many students wearing purple and gray uniform ran. I don't know where they come from. All of them entered a room. I followed everyone and when I got inside there is nobody. All I can see are different charts posted on the walls. I read all of them - Letters of the Alphabet, Let's count, The parts of the body and many more.

I analyzed the place and I remebered something! This was my classroom when I'm in my kindergarten days. Then I saw the kid walking outside. I swiftly ran and followed him once more.

I ran and walk....run...walk...run... and walk. Then I stopped when I saw the pole. The pole looked like the one I held during my first day in school. I glared at the pole and when I stared at the bottom part I saw a cute girl crying. I moved near her. I looked at her face and felt very alarmed..... She looked like me. From the pink clip she has on her hair to the black shoes she's wearing.

I was about to hold her when someone spoke.

"Hey.. I'm Angelo. Uhmm.. we need to go inside now." he said

"No! I'm not going with you! Leave me alone! I want my Mom!" The girl said

I was in great shock when I heard those lines. I ran away from them....

I entered a small gate again and saw that I' m already in a play ground.

I panted and panted.

I sat for a while at the green grass when I saw the two kids running again getting nearer to me.

"Ria! Thank you for everything" the boy said

"No problem Gelo. I would also like to thank you for being my first ever best friend here."

"You're welcome. So I guess it's time to say goodbye?"

"What are you talking about Gelo? We still have 5 years to be together. You will still study and stay here in Little Angels Kindergarten right?"
