i followed her downstairs. "where are you coming from?" she asked. "the school." i told her. "why are you coming from the school?" she awkwardly giggled.

"to read their books. even though i've already read half of them." i followed her into the kitchen. "you. read?" she asked as if i was dumb or something.

"don't say it like i'm stupid." i sat down at the island watching her go into the fridge. "i'm not, just doesn't seem like something you would do."

"mhm." i rolled my eyes. "i miss this.." she sipped her water bottle. "miss what?" i sped over to her taking he water. she scoffed. "i mean us hanging,alone, together."

"me too." i drank the rest of her water bottle literally in 1.2 seconds. "hey dick! there were some in the fridge."

"i just drank this whole water bottle in like 1.2 seconds, and all your worried about is why i drunk your water?!" i point at the crunched bottle.

"but- ok yeah that was kinda cool." she gave in. "i know, you try." i went into the fridge and grabbed a water. she took it out of my hand and screwed the cap off.

"ready.. set, go!" she quickly tried to down the water. but instead ending up chocking. "you ok?!" i pat her back. "i'm fine, i'm fine." she shrugged my hand off still coughing.

my cheeks filled up with air from me trying not to laugh at her. but i couldn't hold it on. "hahaahh!" i burst out laughing. "ha ha. so funny." she said, but i was still laughing."

fuck you." she flicked me off, then it got funnier and my laugh got louder.

[Avanis POV]

today is the last day of tutoring harry. i think so, he has a test today and his grade is going to determine if he still needs me to keep tutoring him.

he's going to ace it. i mean i tutored him why wouldn't he ace the test?

"hey avani!" i turned around to the call of my name. it was harry running up to me . "what's up?" he caught up. "i think i got it down pack. i got a good feeling i'm going to ace the test."

"me too." i'm smiled. "i've been wanting to ask you something." he rubbed the back of his neck. is he about to ask what i think he's about to ask. "ok. what is it?"

i got nervous, because how the hell did Brooklyn get him to ask me to the dance? "would you like to.. come to mine and get together this friday?" did he-wow ok. i THOUGHT!

"i'll have to look at my schedule." for some reason i felt embarrassed. but at least he want me to come to his get together. most people don't get asked that. i guess...

[PaYtOnS POV]

Avani came walking up to our lunch table that me Brooklyn and Jackson were sitting at. "you would not believe what harry just asked me!" she slammed her food tray down.

"what did he ask you?" you could see the glow in Brooklyn's eyes, she couldn't wait for he to tell her what he had asked her. but it quickly went away as these words left avani's mouth.

"he invited me to his get together after school." she smirked but Brooklyn slowly turned her head towards me giving me the death stare.

i shrugged because i know i compelled him to ask her to the dance. i'm going to kill him. it's only right. wait unless he can't be compelled.

"Payton can i have a word?" Brooklyn got up leaving out of the cafeteria. "what's up?" i folded my arms waiting for her to talk, but waiting didn't take that long.

"i thought you compelled harry to ask her to the dance, not some dumb kick back." she whispered only so that i could hear her. "i did! he must can't be compelled or something."

"no one knows that vampires actually exist. so why would they be drinking vervain?" i whispered back. "i don't know! but it's time for a plan b." she looked around.

"ou! i know!"
