😖Chapter 18😖

recap: the boy of my dreams had invited me to his party after a long day of studying. i couldn't say no so i said yes and convinced Brooklyn to go with me and turns out Payton wanted to tag along. when we got there all three of us hung out until harry came up to me and asked if i wanted to dance... it got pretty crazy.

{AVANI'S POV}

11:24 pm

ugh. i groan to myself. i open my eyes and my vision was blurry at first but as i blinked a couple of times it got back clear as i was seeing Payton on his phone.

"what. the hell. happened last night." i rubbed my head getting up. "oh your up. i made this for you." he handed me a cup of hot chocolate. "thank you." i sipped it.

"do you know what happened last night?" i asked him. "yes. party girl avani came out." he laughed. "what did i do? did i do anything stupid?" i got scared.

"um, no you just drank from the bottle and danced on the table."he chuckled. "really? at least i wasn't that bad." i shrugged.

"oh you were bad. you didn't want to get down and i had to carry you out the house." he added.

"so i was drunk is what your saying?" i sighed. "yep." he giggled. "well i had fun." i stood up. "you wanna do something toda-"

"no i'm actually hanging out with Brooklyn today." Payton cut me off. "ok i'll call Jackson and let him know we're all hanging out-" he cut me off again.

"no, me and her are hanging out together.. just us.. without you and Jackson..." he rubbed the back of his neck. "oh.. um. ok. yeah sure." i'm confused on why Payton and Brooklyn are about to hang out alone without me and Jackson.

are they- no they can't be. i'm jumping into conclusions to fast. but what if they- "why?!" i blurted out covering my mouth.

"huh?" he heard me. "nothing. i didn't say anything." i turned around going upstairs. "i just thought it'll be appropriate considering it's going to be are first date." he answered.

my heart dropped as i stopped in my tracks. "y-y-you guys date?" i scratched the back of my neck. "yeah, i asked her out after the party last night." he adds.

no. fucking. way.

"ok have fun on your date." i gave him a fake smile going back up the stairs. did those words really just come out his mouth. he literally only new the girl for half a month now.

does he even like her though. well that's none of my business.

i tried to shrug off the fact that Payton and Brooklyn are together but the thought keeps spinning around my head. why am i so pressed?! i should be happy for them.which i am. i guess.

i decided to take a walk around the city. so i put on a sweat shirt and black leggings and headed out the door. where should i go first.

i walked down the block that lead me to the cafe we all hang out at. i walked passed it and came across Payton and Brooklyn. they were sharing a milkshake in the park. they were on a picnic date.

that's nice. but he could've done better. plus Brooklyn has bad allergies. i turned around quick so they wouldn't see me. then boom i bumped into someone.

but before i could fall that someone grabbed me by my wrist. it was harry. my knight in shining armor! ok thats cringy. we stood there just looking at each other.

i cleared my throat to break the silence. "oh i'm sorry for bumping into you avani." he apologize. "it's ok. good catch too." i smirk at him. "thanks. what are you up to?" he asked.

"nothing, just taking a walk to get my mind off something." i shrug. "ok i'll talk to later. i have to finish up in here." he looked at the book store we were in front of.

"ok, bye." i wave before walking back in the direction i came from. but i just turned the corner. i know where i can take my mind off at.

by the time i got to the location it was sunset. the sunset was the best part about this place. i was half way into the woods. there was a abandoned school bus. i climbed onto the top and stared at the sunset.

there was a great view from at the top of the bus. i always come here when i miss my parents or need to clear my mind.

it's just so relaxing. the smell of nature, it's the perfect scenery. i just sat there until it was pitch black. and after a hour that's when i headed back home.

on the way back the city was bright and beautiful. they had fairy lights on the trees, street lights. and some buildings. another one of my favorite things.

Alrighty babes here's today's chapter might update later on I'm. Not sure. But I'm about go back to sleep because it's like 8:00 am sooo peace out chickeesss 🐣❤️.
