Defendant Lobby No.2
Rose was already in the lobby by the time we arrived. She was talking to some other woman. I recognized her as the woman in the picture Rose showed us at the Detention Center. (So that's Rose's manager,Mrs.Style.) They noticed us almost immediately.
"Oh! Good morning, Mr. Wright!" Rose greeted me with a smile. She looked a little better today. But I could see faint dark circles under her eyes. (I guess her nerves stopped her from sleeping last night...)
"So you are Mr. Phoenix Wright, Rose's lawyer?" Mrs. Style said. She wore a red suit and blue tie. Her black-grey hair was shoulder-length. She wore black high heels. (She looks like a really serious and powerful woman, despite her age... better not get on her bad side.) "Y-yes, that's me." I stammered. Mrs. Style watched me intently over her glasses. "I am Fantina Style, Rose's manager. Rose has told me all about you. I hear you're quite the ace attorney, so I hope you'll do everything you can to help her." Maya punched the air. "Don't you worry, we'll get Rose off the hook in no time!" I nodded in agreement.
"Well, I'll be closely watching from the gallery. Try not to worry too much, will you, Rose? I'll see you later, darling." With that Mrs. Style left the lobby. "I'm sorry if Mrs. Style comes off as a bit rude." Rose quickly said. "She's just a bit protective of me." I dismissed the matter with a wave of my hand. "It's fine, really."
"Um," Maya started. "If you don't me asking, is your sister coming to watch the trial?" Rose nodded. "Yes. She was here earlier to wish us luck. I think she's waiting in the gallery." (So Amethyst is watching the trial... I'd better not let her down!)

District Court
Courtroom No. 2
"Court is now in session for the trial of Rose Quartz." The judge announced. I looked across the room and saw Prosecutor Mitchell stood behind the prosecution bench. (Looking as grumpy as ever, I see...) "Are the defense and prosecution ready?" the judge asked.
"The defense is ready, Your Honour." I said confidently.
"The prosecution..." Prosecutor Mitchell sighed. "The prosecution is also ready."
(Wh-what was that?! He sounds even more pathetic than yesterday!)
"Don't give me that look, Phoenix Wright. " he suddenly addressed me.
I jumped. Was I glaring at him?
"Prosecutor Mitchell, please provide your opening statement for the court." The judge said.
Prosecutor Mitchell began his statement. "This heinous crime took place in Gatewater Hotel. The victim, Ruby Gem, was stabbed to death in her hotel room." The judge was thinking intently. "Ruby Gem? Wasn't she a famous model? I recall my son being a big fan of hers..." Prosecutor Mitchell rolled his eyes. "Anyway... the prosecution strongly believes that the defendant is the one who murdered the victim. I have, at my disposal, multiple pieces of evidence that point to the defendant being the culprit! I call the detective in charge of the investigation, Dick Gumshoe to the stand!"
Seconds later, Detective Gumshoe appeared at the witness stand.
"Witness, please state your name and occupation." Prosecutor Mitchell said.
