I must've looked like a giant fish at that moment. I swear, I have never been so humiliated in my life.
As Brian ran out that door, flailing his arms around like a bloody seal, I was left to spend the rest of the period in detention. The only reason of this being that I was the receiver of a note, so it's 'only reasonable' (note the sarcasm) that I get sent to detention for being absolutely innocent.

That makes sense doesn't it?

As I make my way up to the teachers desk to collect the detention slip, a leg pops out from under a desk and into the aisle and before I know it, I've landed face-first on the old-style school carpet. There is gonna be carpet burn on my knees I can tell.
"Where's your boyfriend Tilly?" An annoying voice shoots out from somewhere in the class.

"Is that a strippers name?" another one yelled.

Laughs erupted from the students as I stumbled with my books.
In an instant, a shadowed figure came in front of me and held out a hand.I hesitated for a moment but took the hand and the person hoisted me up to my feet in one effortless motion. I nodded in acknowledgement toward the person avoiding eye contact with them. And also ignoring a strange feeling that shot right up my spine from the contact with the persons hand.
I stepped to the side of the person and made my way up to the teachers desk and collected my slip. My face was still red as a tomato (I have a serious problem with blushing, its not my fault), everyone was back to chatting and messing around again as I walked out of the door mumbling a colourful trail of curses. But as I did, I could feel a pair of eyes burning into my back, I didn't turn around to see who it was. I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

"What's wrong lover boy?" A voice echoed through the hallway, coming from my classroom.

I stopped in my tracks.

Lover boy?
