"Morning Ian. Can't greet your mom?" My mother asked disapprovingly. "No, I can't" I deadpanned. "Funny lil bro!" Said Mike, his step bro. "Don't call me that and I am not little" I said angrily before shoving a forkful of pancakes in my mouth. Strawberries, my favorite flavour.
She definitely wanted something, and no matter what I was not giving in. "Baby, could you..." She began. "No!" I cut in. "No?" She asked, in that all familiar tone. That one wrong move and everything goes down the drain. I fixed on my tightest and frostiest glare, to match hers.
"I'm your mother!" She yelled. "And I'm your son. Never changed a thing." I muttered, playing with my fork. "You have to teach him his place. And do it yourself, or else I'd be titled a 'bad step dad' by others." He said shrugging. "You bastard." I snarled.
A wrong move from the smirk on his face. "Your the bastard, you ungrateful ingrate." My mom said. I stared at her in disbelief, as her face softened and hardened back. I shook my head as I tried my best to stop my tears while bounding upstairs. I locked the door once back in the safety of my room. I heard her say, a whisper from my room, that I had to learn to be grateful and other $#it. I collapsed on my bed, in a heap of tears and slept away my sniffling.
Finally, a chappie. I can now rest ma lazy ass. 😍😘😋, bye lovelies.
