Jessica's POV:
That day had started out normally, like any other day. We were heading home after a long day of helping Radar with work. Being the mayor is quite difficult, if you ask me.
Anyway, we were walking down the road when suddenly, we heard a noise. It sounded like people talking.
Who would be out at this time? I thought to myself, just as Petra pulled out her sword.
"Hang on Petra, we don't even know what's making that sound." Said my brother, Jesse.
As we looked into the forest we saw two figures huddled together whispering something that I couldn't hear.
As Lukas stepped forward, a twig cracked beneath his feet and the two figures stopped talking to each other.
They turned around and saw us standing there with no idea what to do. Freezing in shock, the two strangers quickly both pulled out an enchanted diamond sword.
"Run!" Cried Lukas, grabbing my wrist.
So we ran, leaving the mysterious strangers behinds.
"WAIT!" yelled one of them, they sounded female. "WE WON'T HURT YOU!"
Running for our lives, I took a chance to glance behind me and saw the smaller figure racing after us, calling for us to "Stop, Stop!"
Lukas yanked my arm, causing me to turn my eyes forward again. Lukas and I were in front of Jesse and Petra.
"LOOK OUT!" shrieked the woman, suddenly teleporting in front of us.
We quickly swerved to the right, barely missing running into the woman. We continued running, when suddenly, flames sprung up in front and around us.
Lukas quickly dug his heels in to stop the forward momentum, but the forward force caused us to be flung to the ground.
Lukas cried out, releasing my wrist, and grabbing his left ankle as we went down.
"Lukas!" I yelped, my shoulder screaming in pain due to being scrapped on the ground.
Glancing around, I noticed that Jesse and Petra were no where to be seen. The smoke made it difficult to see them.
I noticed that the woman, her eyes covered, seemed to be staring at me. She reached up and ripped the blindfold off, and I froze in shock.
Her eye was green, and she stared in horror at me, when suddenly, the second person came forward, his white eyes glowing in the fire light.
One name came to mind at the sight of those eyes, and I breathed the name that everyone feared.
"Herobrine..."
